:)I think Emelia was fantastic!!! Perhaps I'm biased - she was my babysitter when she lived in Melbourne. With a history of being an elite athlete, she has total focus, determination and drive. Awesome voice considering that she has never had any training previously! GO EMELIA!!!!!

It will be great if we see someone different whatever genre of music they specialise in. I am hoping for someone who just takes your breath away. Guy did that right away. So I don't really care what they sing just the certain special something that divides them from the rest. But I am mainly a blues/jazz lover. My fave in the idols I have seen are Guy and Paulini,Fantasia and Goerge and Jennifer in th U.S, and in the uk pop idol Michelle(who won.)

Yep have to agree with the majority and say Fantasia, but then I have always thought she was great. She is just a bit different and a real soul diva which I love when she sang " summertime' and the one she dedicated to her little girl I felt all goosebumpy. I love that catch she has in her voice can't explain what it is but a different sort of sound comes out of that huge mouth of hers to the others. I am sure LaToya will get a contract and Diana too. I find Jasmine a bit too sugary sweet and boring same as a lot of other singers, nothing new. It seems a travesty that she is still there to me. I believe Jennifer and George were far superior in style and talent. Hope America doesn't vote for the underdog again like this week.

Hey Reggie, how you been girl!! I thought Fantasia and La toya were excellent. I agree with Simon those two are in a league of their own! This is my opinion on the two of them: Obviously both can "hit them notes"! Fantasia, exciting, emotional, raw, sassy, cheeky, cute with attitude! ;D La toya more reserved, somewhat classier, shy, controlled cute, stylish! I really like both.. but am slightly more wanting Fantasia to win.. I like her feistiness!! ;D I agree totally it looks like they are priming Latoya for a win but i like Fantasia better just for the reasons you stated and for that unusual tone she has in her voice, she has a gutsy aretha franklin style which is the type of singer I like.

I don't think any of them could, maybe only latin people should sing latin. It made Gloria Estefan look really good anyway. I don't particularly like these theme nights of one singers stuff.

At last he is gone. We don't have to watch anymore painful Dean Martin impersonations. Actually john does look like stan Laurel. He did have a nice style in some ways but I can't understand him lasting this long. Can't see Diana lastin till the last two. I think Fantasia and LaToya, with George on third base. It starts to get interesting now that they have gotten rid of the weaker singers. Any result from now on will be interesting and devastating.

It'd be really interesting to get a show review from Guy as he was in the audience. Wonder what he thought. Its really sad that Jennifer went because she was really starting to shine. As for the other 2 girls being in the bottom 3, america should be ashamed

I just think that it is a shame that the contest seems to be turning into a personality contest. People keep saying (including me) things like "that person gets on my nerves" or "she just really rubbed me the wrong way". Would me great if it was just about TALENT minus all the other crap. But, I guess in the end, the way someone comes across on TV (cus face it...none of us REALLY actually know these people or their personalities.) really matters a great deal. I think they should call it American Idol Talent and Personality contest. Because at the end of the day that is what is going on!!! This is true.

Randy does support the african american contestants, paula agrees and if you really care to listen so does simon esp Fantasia, Latoya and George. Talk about racism! I think the black contestants get the most support because they are the best, none of the 'white' performers were anywhere near as good as either Jennifer,George,LaToya or Fantasia. Seems to me you are trying to make something out of nothing!

Well I guess I'm a racist too then, because I think George, Latoya and Fantasia are the 3 most talented performers. Me too.

I would say the best performers were George,LaToya and Fantasia, I missed Jennifers song but heard that she was good. Camille was definately the worst followed a close second by John Stevens then Diana and JPL, in that order. I didn't think Jasmine was that bad. Just shows how good Elton is! They did the elton walking in thing on the U.K pop idol too. Hope John Stevens goes next week, I hate the way he stares at the floor almost and you never get inside his head. He seems totally emotionless to me. Maybe after next week it will get harder to pick who is going to go.
