I think Camille or John Stevens will go next week, they are totally outclassed by the others. My top three would be, 1. Fantasia 2. George 3. LaToya I am not keen on LaToyas style but I can see she is very talented so I have put her at three even though I don't like the stuff she does. Then I would put 4. Diana 5.Jasmine 6.Jennifer 7.JPL Is that all of them. So far the voting has gone well with what I had thought of the calibre of the singers. But who is vtoing for John Stevens???

1. La Toya because both her up tempo songs and ballads have been extremely well done. She seems the most professional of the lot. 2. Fantasia because she's unique and is a great performer. I did have a problem with her attitude, but I'm starting to think her attitude isnt "I'm better than everyone else" more that she has confidence in herself. Besides at least she isn't being fake. I 3. I'm torn between Diana and George. I love George's personality but I also love Diana's voice. I think the chances of a girl winning American Idol 3 this year and really high. have to agree with you there on your choices, but maybe I would put Fantasia first as LaToya is a bit screechy for me. But I would put her second because of her proffessionalism and her high standard comapared to some of the others. Love George and diana, they are both very cute. I was hoping Camille would do well, but she has been very dissapointing so far, maybe a bit too young and inexperienced. She hasn't sang as well as she did in the auditons.

I still think Fantasia is the best. I am not sure what they see in La Toya as her voice does not strike me as unique. Matt is boring and Karaoke. Camille could be excellent if she gets over her nerves. George is just lovely and his confidence is building. John Peter Lewis is fun but I can't see him winning. I love Jennifer a sexy, sassy bundle of fun and I love her ballsy voice. Amy I don't thimk will last long and now I find her squeaky speaking betty boop voice annoying. Leah was gorgous but maybe a bit young, could do well in the future, but she was offkey for me. John Stevens is different but this is pop idol and I don't think he will make it to the top five. I really liked Jasmine she has a nice attitude and beautiful voice. That is my opinion, who knows what will happen not sure how the U.S public will vote, so far it seems they have gone for personality. Still it does seem like it will be a 2 horse race, namely La Toya and Fantasia. As for Fantasia's attitude, I think she has a look about her that says don't mess with me but every time I have seen her speak she has been lovely. And if she knows she can sing well, thats great...........whats wrong with believing in yourself.

I really like Jennifer she has a bit of charachter about her and a great big voice, could be the worst dressed woman on earth though. George is lovely too, he makes you want to cuddle him, I like his gruff, ruff, huff voice. He does look like a bit of a throwback to Tamla Motown days. But hey I love Tamla Motown. Not keen on Leah I think she is a bit young and I find those Mariah carey-ish voices(screechy!) very irritating but maybe she will get better. Now John Peter Lewis not sure about him one minute he seems good then I just think he is fairly ordinary. We'll have to wait and see what he delivers from next week. Looking forward to the business end of the show now. It should get much better. Still think Fantasia is the strongest contender so far.

I find his street slang a bit put on too. Mr cool I don't think! He is carrying on like a right wally trying to be the black brother but I just find it annoying.

Yeah I thought that was a bit odd. Some of the people they did choose to sing were not very good. I thought they would give all the runners up a go(meaning the ones who had got into the final 3 each week. 'Boooooo' we demand a recount to give Lisa a chance. Couldn't be any worse than that Katie Weber she was a pretty face and nice body but not a lot else. Agree on all the others though.
Does anyone else think Americans seem to be voting on popularity rather than talent. Otherwise why would that football guy be in it. I do hope that changes when the next bit starts. I still think we had a lot more talent in our show than this one. Wonder if when we get to Aus idol 3 will there be not as much talent as we had on the 1st show.

I thought it was pretty cruel of the show to keep switching to her tear stained face as the results were read out and the winners were singing, a cheap shot. Anyway she will probably get in in the wild card round. Who else do you think will be in the wild card round? I guess Jon Peter Lewis,Lisa and maybe Matt so far. And my pick to go through would be Lisa and Leah. Not many guys in there though only 1 so far,so they may pick a guy to even it up a bit.

They both seem to have that screechy high pitched voice. I find it irritating. I suppose technically Latoya is good but the voice is just not for me. Something a bit more soulful and gutsy sounds better to me.

What is wrong with americans! That footballer Matt was awful. There were a lot that were bad last night and he was one of them though not as cringeworthy as Jesus and Noel and Bree(she was scarey!). I think Lisa should have gone through. I thouight she was as good as Camille and has a lovely look about her. Not keen on Marissa although she did sing well but looked like she was suffering from cramps or something,Cosima used to do that crouch thing but not to the extent of Marissa. Hope next weeks crop is better, pen salesman next week and Amy Adams so we might get a decent show.

Talk about a bad loser that girl the blonde who loved herself.....kira bivens was her name who sang very ordinarily. She needs to come down to earth looks like spoilt and indulged brat. Fancy showing your self up like that. Weren't some of them bad when the pressure was put on. Can't believe the model girl is in she was boring and a total bimbo. Not sure who is my fave yet. It seems very disorganized and jumbled the way they film it. I'll be glad when they get to the next bit so you can see each individual. The black guy with the red hat was good though. No one is standing out yet though.

It seems to me like they had to scrape the barrell abit to get 32. Some of the people left in don't seem particularly worthy. The 2 brothers Noel and Jesus both forgot their linesand did not seem to be that great. Maybe they didn't show much of the best moments. Yes we didn't get to see Briana the butch girl sing at all, in fact there are quite a few that I don't remember seeeing do any singing,i'm sure thay did but we just don't get to see that.. I guess it is the way they are filming it for the states. I'm sure we got more into it from the start and saw more of the performers. Not just the controversial moments or the failures. I like the way we did it better than this version. It was more about the music and less about who had th chippy comebacks.

The guy who sang for the pope is not there. Michael Keown. Wonder what happened. he seemed so good,if a bit cocky, as has been noted here. My other picks are there though Fantasia, pen man and Amy Adams and Camille(wht a lovely name).

Yep I think the girl in Hawaii was not bad, when I look at some of the so called best of the bunch. Some seem to sing in paragraphs like they are singing 2 different songs and they don't join the song together, its a very annoying trend.

Just had a look at the best of the audtions(theres not many there). And so far my picks are Michael Keown the guy who sang for the pope(can the pope hear?).Sang Unchained Melody. Fantasia Barrino black girl with spiky short hair from Atlanta sang Proud Mary. Jeffrey Dingle(great name)sang Desperado. John Peter Lewis(pen sales man)sang Crazy Love. Needs a makeover clothes and hair but cute and good voice. Camille Velasco sang Ready or not here I come. Nice smoky dark tones to her voice. The pancake waitress. Katie Weber, yeah good a bit different. Amy Adams, can belt out a tune not sure how she will go with the different styles. Sang Rescue me, has the pink pixie hairdo. not sure about her might be really good, might not.
