ooh a very sore point I see! ... must be to resort to personal insults! Look, I've got defensive and cross 'cos some people have been really insulting to Will on here without knowing the truth and without knowing very much at all about him! How frustrating do you think that is? But you can check I've never ONCE insulted Guy, either personally or vocally - not because I can't , but because I choose not to! If the tables were turned and you felt people were unfairly criticizing Guy don't you think you'd want to put his side across? And hope people were big enough to respect your different opinion even if they didn't agree??? I just got annoyed that you actually thought people simply didn't like Will because they're bitter about the rugby. They're two different things, some people just aren't going to like Will just as some people aren't going to like Guy. It was a very sore spot to say the least but not for the reason you think. I'm an AFL supporter and don't know a thing about rugby..so Australia's loss didn't bother me in the slightest. What bothers me is people insisting that the rugby loss was a big deal for all Australians because it wasn't. And I just found using that as a reason for people disliking Will was kind of silly. No offence was meant, I was just a bit annoyed.

The thing is that when I was over in Australia last Dec + Jan. all everybody we met went on about when they knew we were English was how much better Australia were at everything sporty and it got a bit annoying and boring really ... maybe we just met sport-orientated people then... Anyway, I haven't meant to be offensive ... just want people to give somebody I love a fair hearing, that's all.... friends?? 'cos, the thing is, how can anybody REALLY know they hate somebody when they know very little FACT about them? and how can anybody decide they hate somebody's music when they've only heard ONE SONG which may not be very indicative of their music anyway? I mean the thing is, that the songs the contestants sang in the show are not necessarily what they would choose to sing per se, are they? I suppose the only thing you can get a fix on is whether or not somebody can sing in tune, the style of their singing and what they look like. I think all other factors are likely to change quite a lot at another performance/song/occasion. What do you think? Maybe we should exchange another song by each of our artists and info about them, and try to listen/read without prejudice??? What do you think?

Friends ! ;D And sure that sounds like a cool idea, I downloaded Leave Right Now yesterday and I really liked the song. So I'm more than willing to hear more stuff of Will's On Guy's album my favourite song is "My Beautiful Friend" also his album version of "When Doves Cry" is cool too..there's other songs but I'm not gonna overwhelm you with them Lol

Sounds great Chicagoholic! I've gotta go an ccok dinner now tho' but will get back to you when I can! I have put some live links up on the 'in tune' or 'out of tune' thread or whatever it is, from Italy in the summer .. if you want to listen.
Have you got some links for Guy then?? ;D
PS Glad you like Leave Right Now - it's off Will's latest album - 'Friday's Child' - which is brill and currently number 1 in the album charts! Well worth buying - I could be bias tho'!!! But it's had rave reviews even from Will's most cynical critics!

Well he won't be getting any rave reviews from THIS critic - he wouldn't survive most decent karaokes.
