Yeah it is true, they spoke to Quentin about it on Entertainment Tonight I think. He said if they're good, he'll tell them..but if they're bad, he'll tell them that too Lol

Fantasia is awesome! Original, has a personality at least..and is a great performer!

Huh? Why make a Cosima thread in an American Idol 3 section and why make a negative Cosima thread that really isnt relevant at all?

The one good thing is, because of her classy exit..she's earnt herself more fans. Going on the American Forums...a lot of people seem to be listening to her result show performance now..and liking it!

I was never a big fan of Camile's..but I am now..after her results show performance. Did you guys catch her lyric changes?
"You cant plant me in your Penthouse, I'm Going back to my plough. Back to the Islands of Maui and Home"
She also changed "This boy's too young to be singing the blues" to "This boy's too young to be singing....I love you...and you!" Which is when she pointed to the other contestants and then the judges.
I just found that really sweet! Plus her vocals werent that bad during the results show performance, perhaps because she just let loose and didnt let the nerves get the better of her?
My fav performance of the night would be Fantasia and Jennifer..although I enjoyed Diana too.

From what I've heard, America doesn't have one of those Inside Idol shows this year.

A lot of people are gonna bite my head off for this but after watching the show tonite I have to say that I really don't like Fantasia. I liked her in the semi-finals but since being in the top 12 she just really gets on my nerves! Every song she finishes with "yeah-yeah-yeah-yeah!" no matter what it is. In my opinion she completely butchered "Something About The Way You Look Tonight" by screeching it, as Simon says. She just seems so obnoxious to me, but like I said that's just my opinion so please dont yell at me! IMO I don't feel she screeched it..but for those who do feel that she did that..did you notice that she at least wasnt out of tune when she did it? Unlike some of the other contestants who hit a lot of bad notes. And while I get why people find her attitude annoying..at least she isnt being fake. With Fantasia, what you see is what you get.

I was all for LaToya..but I dont think her past two performances have been near the standard of her semi final peformance IMO. I feel that Fantasia has been constantly good and showed during Country Week that she can do an amazing job with ballads as well as up tempo songs. So I'm going for Fantasia

You know whats happened with me? I downloaded the performances and I'm now firmly in the Fantasia camp. I simply love "Always on My Mind"
So Fantasia is now clearly in the top spot for me, with LaToya second.

1. La Toya because both her up tempo songs and ballads have been extremely well done. She seems the most professional of the lot.
2. Fantasia because she's unique and is a great performer. I did have a problem with her attitude, but I'm starting to think her attitude isnt "I'm better than everyone else" more that she has confidence in herself. Besides at least she isn't being fake.
3. I'm torn between Diana and George. I love George's personality but I also love Diana's voice.
I think the chances of a girl winning American Idol 3 this year and really high.

I understand that her voice was a bit broadway-ish..but wasn't that the case with Clay Aiken? That certainly hasn't stopped him from selling Pop records.

What about the girl in the mini skirt who sang like 10 words and was let right into the next round..wtf @ that. I find both the judges AND a lot of the people auditioning to be really rude.
