Jessie has chosen to sing Taller then God by the Strawpeople (it's homegrown this week). Might be a bit awkward with Fiona McDonald there though.

I have to say, Jessie is at risk of being voted off tonight. She'll definitely be in the bottom three.

Surprising to see Robin in the bottom two, though he was pretty awful. I still reckon he'll take this out. Jessie should have gone, her version of that song really sucked, if she screws up next week she'll be gone! I can't believe Sela's gone She was by far one of the best. I would have rather seen Eddie, Michael or Camillia go

I can believe Sela is gone. I was very sure she would be in the bottom three, and quite sure she would go. I was right about Jessie. I was not surprised to see Robin in the bottom group. I have to say I wondered how the audience might take that initial comment about disagreeing with the judges. I wasn't totally sure, but felt it might cost him. He then agreed with their comments, and I've noticed that in NZ Idol voters seem to go with what the judges say pretty much. The people that are going are the ones who get bad reviews. If Robin hadn't built up a fanbase and/or wasn't good looking he would have gone this week. Sela's performance just didn't have the appeal this week, and the judges were dismissive.

Here's my take on the chances of the remaining eight of becoming the NZ Idol. My view may change as time goes on.
Luke: I can see him going on, but I don't think he's got a shot of winning.
Jessie: She may be able to step it up, but even still I don't think she can win.
Robin: I tend to think this week's result won't impact in future, so I'd say he has a reasonable chance at winning. My guess is that he won't, though.
Camellia: Decent chance of winning.
Dave: I don't think he's got what enough people are looking for. I also wonder about his personality.
Ben: A slight chance.
Michael: I'd say he has a fair chance, and I wouldn't have said that a few weeks ago. He's young and I imagine a lot of girls like him.
Eddie: Won't win.
What do you guys think?
