Self-serving "Judges" ruining WI

Btw, I think this is the best world idol forum I've found after looking all over the world!

There's been a lot of press here in South Africa about how the "judges" maliciously bagged all and sundry (except Guy (ozzie) and Kelly (us)). I for one hope they edit the hell out of it. I have no interest in seeing primadonna idiots trying to out do each other with harsh comments in the hope that they'll become the nastiest judge of the idol world.

Its okay when they bag out some really untalented poor souls who are giving it a go in the preliminary stages with whitty, sharp comments. I'm sure in all of your countries equivalents of the idols show you would have enjoyed some of the comments from one of your judges - we saw some of the clips from the Ozzie idol show and Dicko as he's now called was a classic!

But these 11 contestants in world idol should have been above that. Its disappointing that this excellent event could be dissolving into the mess we've been hearing about. What a shame!!

I still hope our man Heinz does well despite some crass remarks during the recent world idol filming but if he doesn't I hope Guy from oz does - apparently they've become good friends through the show according to some photo's and interviews and his voice and manner is awesome! Love the 'fro!

jt247, if you wanna get a petition going to get rid of the judging segment from the broadcast, just tell me where to go to sign.

the live recording was 4 hours long... i think all the countries are going to get a 90 minute show of world idol. that includes the heavy editing out of judge's responses, etc

so we probably will only see a tiny amount of comments from judges

Did u see Michelle Cashman in the top 40? Mark and Dicko were so mean to her, they reduced her to tears. Marcia (another judge) was so mad at them and she was clearly upset...that was bad, and I think that's what happened in London.

But, Dicko did apologise to Michelle the next day, which was the best he could do after the night before...

Yeah they can be shocking! but thats the music industry 4 ya
But also remember that some people are more emotional than others
I like Dicko though... he has what it takes... and sometimes you have 2 point out the mistakes otherwise you would be lying.
