I think it sucks! In Australia we have to pay $4.00 to vote when in the US its free. Even throughout the regular seasons of Idol their voting line is toll free! I didnt vote at all last season in Australian Idol because i didnt want to pay such expensive phone tolls. Plus I dont think New Zealand get to see World Idol because they are a not a participating country. Only the 11 countries who are participating get to see it.

Actually, World Idol is screening in NZ on the 28th of December and 2nd of January.

Now I'm confused! I read on the World Idol homepage that you can vote for your own country and then a ratio would be worked out or something like that. So doesn't that mean us Aussies CAN vote for Guy?! Somebody help!! Cheers ;D

If you think about it, it's a plus for Aussies. As the Americans will be more likely to pick up the phone and vote because it's free.
