so we can't vote for our own country then why vote at all? ? The only person I would vote for is Kelly but I really like guy.... I'm confused

I agree Bek, everyone wants their countrys idol to win, so noone would vote for another country incase it takes away ponts from their countrys idol.
I think the only people who'll vote are the people from a country who go overseas and vote from anutha country.

It's obvious that most people will be going for their own country. I really want Guy to win so therefore I don't think I will vote at all if that's the case. I think the whole thing is stupid if you can't vote for the person you want to win and you believe is better than the rest. *sigh*

I know it sucks but believe me - it's better that we cant. Otherwise Australia wouldnt stand a chance against the US and the UK, simply because they're population is just so much bigger than ours.

If everyone in Australia followed that strategy and didn't vote then the other contestants would all get second place points, so 10 points. Do you really want to give them all that many points, perhaps costing Guy the title?

Imagine If all countries followed that strategy and nobody voted at all! There would be no world idol! End of competition!
