Reality is you need a dictionary. It's pretty much all about luck making it big in America. There's alot of competition there, tryin to be the next big thing. You can't say Britney Spears has any talent. Sure she has sex written all over her, but her voice, ugh! Metamucil anyone? And she's not the only one. imo Guy is talented. I've listened to both Clay Aitkin and Reuben from American Idol, and they hold nothing over Guy.

Guy and shannon would be laughed at overseas. Guy with his bird catching hairdo and shannon with his kareoke voice. the one that would appeal mostly to overseas audiences left last week the damn fine miss cosima devito yes thankyou well said ;D . I agree 100% Cosima is bigger than idol, it's just boring with out her. But out of the two go Shannon

guy is far better a talent. if shannon was better than guy than shannon would have one but obviously he didnt so boo-hoo to shannon. if we sent shannon over to world idol, we would be the laughing stock of the competition. nuff said.

obviously guy....r&b/soul style is becoming more popular than the rock/country shit......especially in america..... australia is SOOOOO behind,,,seriously...its so bad.... thats why evry1'z in love with american shit....cuz australian stuff still in the 80's or sum shit..... maybe its haven for alternative music luvas,.. but for ppl who like urban music australia's a shit hole........... Guest - Blah You must not get out much and support local bands. There are thousands of great Aussie bands who are not and I quote 'still in the 80's'. I know the commercial radio stations still play the older Aussie bands but there are a few stations who really get behind great new up and coming Aussie Bands. For example on Triple J this month its Oz Music Month and you would be surprised at how many really good bands are out there trying to make a go at it. The commerical stations couldn't give two hoots about new bands until they become popular enough to be played on their stations. For example the commercial stations love Powderfinger now but they never used to play their music when they were getting started. Sorry to go on about this subject but it really annoys me that we don't support our local talent as much as we should. No wonder they move overseas.

Guy's style of music appeals to both National and an International audience. He has a good chance of kicking ass in WI
