Some fans of Australian Idol are attacking the judges on a daily basis, especially one Mark Holden, but if you think they are truly awful people or unintelligent or untalented or uncaring, then just watch last nights show where Cosima left. ALL three of them were crying, old cranky pants Holden included...if he's such a prick then why was he flabbergasted and shocked, and in tears too (when normally he holds back)? I think all three judges are great people, having met them all. Professional and polite. God, Ian is hilarious! A funny, funny person. Their job is bloody fucken tough and they are aware of what awful things are being said about them. It does hurt, but they care more about the contestants being okay to make it through, than the public gossiping. Just come backstage for five minutes and you'll see this is true. Particularly from Dicko. Mark gets confused yes - but that's nerves - and Marcia is wonderful too. The look on all three judges faces last night was wonderful...it was really cool to see them as me and others do each weekend, as real people with real emotions....anyone agree then please write back? Lets get serious, these three really DO care! So Let them be and they all contribute to the show and no I am not their PR person or trying to sell their virtues...I just wanted to express this.

where were you when they were passing brain? that Mark Holden simply can't make up his mind whether or not he should say those people are good or bad. at least the other two are honest. Crying? they sure do have emotions but brain? maybe one of them must've left it out somewhere in the jungle.

I'm sure they're lovely people - what is wrong with Australia? Ian only has to open his mouth on a Sunday night and the live audience are already booing him - get a life Australia - let the man have his say. Anyway, Ian has a much more professional opinion than half the imbeciles in the Australian public - damn you Australia - whatever happened to tolerance, equality and democracy??? Give them a fair go! The Judges rock - let them have their say. Love you Ian, Marcia and Holden - I know your job is hard and you do it in style - good on you.

I agree I think the judges have grown also and that they really have got to love the contestants and I feel more than the winner will be signed up. They really want to help them and they spend time with them afterwards discussing their comments. The judges have got emotionaly involved and it shows. I have a daughter who sings and we are learning a lot from the show.
