The problem (or blame??) with having Millsy as the Australian Idol really rests on the judges shoulders. They put him in the top 40. Where the others that bad that they thought Millsy had talent??? Now that the Millsy bandwagon is steamrolling him into the finals (and the odds are he will get the prize) they have only themselves to blame. They are experienced people in the music industry and should have known from the onset that a good-looking (maybe to preteens), young, rude, cheeky, bloke will have a backing even if he has only "middle-of-the-road" talent. Then to compound that with a voting format which opens itself to the mindless following that young girls tend to do is really lacking in forsight. >:(And Dicko calls himself a marketing man??!!?? Looking back at the semi-finals, Millsy was a shoo-in in his group (if only Courtney Act was voted in instead of Millsy). I think the problem was how the 40 was grouped into eights. Were the contestants asked to draw numbers or did the judges/show's producers/directors have a hand in it. There were some groups that there was more than 2 good ones and ones that were extremely bad. To actually have Rebecca T, Courtney Act, Bek, Cosima and Levi going into the 2nd chance round was not a good thing.
