Oh yes I bought it for her. Only set me back half a million - had to mortgage the house and the Aussie Idol Karaoke system was repossessed unfortunately but as longer as Marcia's happy with it and prepared to go easy on the stalking charge I think everyone's a winner here.

The offical Idol newsletter says the following about the necklace:
Divine Miss M's 'M'
Again, for the fashion conscious among you who are wondering where Marcia's gigantic 'M' comes from (it's the pendant the size of a small house, which dangles daintily from her neck), it was made by Roun, a jeweller from Melbourne, and they designed it especially for Marcia. Roun also sent her an 'Idol' bracelet, which Marcia wore on the show last week and these pieces of prettiness have proved a huge hit!

in Fashion Journal (i think that's what its called) there was an ad (dunno if it was Roun or not) by a melbourne-based jewellery co (small) selling that exact M necklace (other letters of the alphabet are availiable) in gold & sterling silver...the silver one is ~$129 i think...
the magazine is the huge A3 size one you can get free in most 'young' fashion stores, it features mostly independent, young sydney & melbourne fashion labels & comes out monthly...hope that helps
