I created an Australian Idol website called 'Inside Australian Idol' users.tpg.com.au/libertyx/idol/ almost a year ago before the series began- (the producers of Australian Idol then decided to call a behind-the-scenes program 'inside Australian idol') As part of the website I created this forum so viewers could post their opinions. I became the moderator by default after offensive posts were made. I have not been paid for either the unofficial Inside Australian Idol website or to moderate this forum. Wish I were though. Might aim to get sponsorship/advertisers for the site for this season.  |

Whoa what a lot of work for you. I hope it doesn't cost you anything apart from time. Question - Who pays for this forum to exist? Is it the little ads that I never read  at the top of the page? |

I for one am truly very grateful to you MOD...I have made genuine friends who I will be going to concerts with and hanging out with and without a doubt have life long friendships with...so thank you for all the time and effort you put into making this site what it is today..... I am curious....what motivated you to even start the site?....had you heard about American Idol?....I mean...if there was nothing to financially gain from this.....what made you go...."yeah...I'm going to start a website for a forum that is going to be mega popular".......or did you not expect this? I guess you could have never anticipated this interest in a TV show...I honestly have been so shocked by my response to it..... I have 1)never done online chat until now...it rocks by the way and 2) never been interested in a tv show enough to ever even check the program over it, let alone own all the episodes on video or dvd and 3) Never cared enough about an singer to ever care about where they were or what they were doing.....or how sucessful they were Did you get hooked on idol Mod?  and are you excited about the next one? Tell me to if I am being rude and too prying........and I'm sorry if this post was inappropriate...i know you are like spiderman...noone can truly know you....... Thanks Mod so much for making this board such a wonderful place to be, we all really appreciate all the effort you put in to create and make this site better. I have meet some truly wonderful people on this site, and it all because of the amount of time and effort you put in when you created this fantastic site in the first place  . And Sheenia I never had been on a online chat site before I found this site either. |
