OUR Idol people tell us Casey Donovan was at the Melbourne auditions and not Sydney's because Melbourne would feature on the first episode of the next series.
The producers wanted the winner in the first show; hence, Donovan was at Moonee Ponds.
Donovan still has a few fans after we gave her some support.
"I just wanted to say thanks," one reader said.
"Too many people in the media are saying negative things and it's tiring and frustrating."
And another reader:
"What a relief to see a positive comment about Casey Donovan after non-stop sledging," they said.
"Casey has an amazing stage presence and wonderful voice.
"Her recent concerts knocked me out, way beyond my already high expectations."
