Shannon Noll Gets Ready To Record Second Album

SYDNEY, Australia (Sony BMG Australia) - After spending the last few months writing, Aussie superstar Shannon Noll is armed with a stack of stellar new songs and will soon head back into the studio to record the follow-up to his multi-platinum debut smash 'That's What I'm Talking About'.
His quest for great songs has seen him work extensively with Australia's finest songwriters, and recently took him to London and the US to team up with some of hottest writers from abroad.
Shannon is confident he is already sitting on some incredible, career-defining work - those who saw his recent performances at the Bryan Adams shows got the chance to hear him road-testing some new songs, with the track 'Lonely' becoming an instant hit among the thousands who heard it.
Shannon will follow up the release of his new album with his biggest national tour yet, playing his new music (as well as the classics we've come to know and love) the length and breadth of the nation!

Triumph of the Will

Part-time rapper and full-time actor Will Smith dislodges the Snoop Dogg-Justin Timberlake combination from No. 1 in this week's singles chart.

Switch moves up one spot to take the top position, while Snoop Dogg's Signs rests at No. 2.

Rob Thomas' Lonely No More maintains its position at three, ahead of the new single from UK virtual band Gorillaz, Feel Good Inc. at four.

Headed by Blur vocalist Damon Albarn, the animated group enlisted the help of hip hop legends De La Soul for Feel Good Inc., their first single in a year.

Mario's Let Me Love You drops five spots to be at nine.

Il Divo's self titled album spends its second week at No. 1 on the albums chart, ahead of Missy Higgins' Sound Of White at two and Michael Buble's It's Time at three.

Anthony Callea's self titled album is the biggest mover, albeit in the wrong direction, dropping four spots to be at No. 8.

It sits ahead of the soundtrack for the hotly anticipated Star Wars: Episode III Revenge Of The Sith, which enters the chart at nine.

X Factor winner boy band Random will be very busy over the next couple of weeks, and we wonder how the lads will cope.

Behind the scenes, the boys got a reputation for loving one thing -- sleep. They often complained of being tired. They slept in and had afternoon naps.
