Guy's Guilt Trip
Australian Idol winner Guy Sebastian has teamed with Human Nature to record Guilty, a new version of the Barbara Streisand classic. It will be included on Walk the Tightrope, the act's first album of original material in 2 1/2 years.
"Guy is a lovely chap and a great singer to match", Human Nature member Toby Allen Says.
"We needed something special so we got Guy in to work with a female rapper, Kally Kae. It is always great working with other artists." Allen said the break was a blessing for the four-piece band which formed 15 years ago.
"The long break allowed us to recharge and regroup," he says. The new album is the band's fifth and follows its previous multi-platinum, chart-topping albums. A highlight is Love You Blind, which is an unreleased Bee Gees song given to Human Nature by Barry Gibb.
"That was a fantastic honour for us", Allen said. "You cannot imagine there being too many unrecorded Bee Gees tracks just lying around the place. The Bee Gees are truly inspirational to us".
Walk the tightrope is out now.
