It is a big reality TV night for Ten with the final of the American version of the globally franchised pop contest followed by another lice eviction from the Big Brother house. Australian Idol winner Guy Sebastian makes a surprise reprise tonight to show them how it's cone. The second American Idol has been going on now for three monthe and while it has been a big hit in the US, picking up more than the 30 million viewers wha tuned in for Idol 1, the US version hasn't proved so popular Down Under. Perhaps we are waiting to support our local crooners when the Aust version goes to air. Record numbers have turned out for auditions, the last of which happen in Sydney tomorrow.

I don't know. It doesn't sound like that happened "live". But still, to even see him sitting there is a boost.

But also - what's this rumour that originated in Yahoo (see thread under Aus Idol here) that Guy's going to be with Timberlake here.

No-one has said anything. Kiwigurl said her dad saw it in a paper at work.

Surely that would be a special bit of news. When's Timberlake playing, I remember seeing ads somewhere.
