Guy Sebastian on American Idol 07:33 AEST Sat May 22 2004 Australian Idol Guy Sebastian has taken centre stage on American Idol, performing live to more than 28 million viewers on the final episodes of the show. Sebastian, who impressed the prickly judge Simon Cowell during the World Idol contest late last year, performed Angels Brought Me Here and received a standing ovation. Wait is over for Cosima May 22, 2004 COSIMA "nodules" De Vito has emerged from the wilderness. And the Perth girl is using the Cold Chisel track When the War is Over for her big comeback. Unhappy with some of the deals offered to her by several record companies, Cosima will be releasing her next album independently, but has signed with MGM to distribute her music. "I'm about to start work on my new album," Cosima said before her performance at PM John Howard's 30th anniversary bash on Thursday night. "I'll be heading to the States to start producing it." Manager Con Nellis said he had managed to the secure the talents of famous Grammy Award-winning songwriter Dianne Warren to pen Cosima's first album. Like fellow Christian and Australian Idol winner Guy Sebastian, Lummis has joined a growing movement of youths taking a vow of chastity. He does not drink, do drugs or smoke and says sex is something he will be abstaining from until after he has married. The 25-year-old does admit he is not a virgin, but he wants to be a good Christian now and he hopes his next girlfriend will be his future wife.
