IF Delta Goodrem's success at last year's ARIA Awards is any guide, the singer is set to be a big winner at the TV Week Logie Awards next month.
It looks like it'll be Delta's night at the Logies.
The list of nominations for the 46th annual awards was unveiled in Sydney today with 26 gongs in all - 15 to be voted by TV Week readers and the other 11 chosen by industry panels.
Goodrem, who recently underwent treatment for Hodgkin's disease, was noticeably absent today but picked up two nominations, one for the Gold Logie for most popular personality on television and the other for the Silver Logie, for most popular actress.
The former Neighbours star, who took out a record seven ARIA awards last year, will also present awards at the event to be held in Melbourne on April 18.
Goodrem will go head-to-head for the Gold Logie against last year's winner Rove McManus, Lisa Chappell, John Wood and multiple winner Georgie Parker. "It was Delta's year. She is so popular with our readers," TV Week editor Emma Nolan said.
"You would have to say she is a firm favorite."
Parker, who received her first Logie in 1990 for best new talent on A Country Practice, has also tipped Goodrem to win but said it was good just to be nominated for her role on drama All Saints.
"She is so going to get it and that is great because she deserves it," Parker said.
"It sounds trite but it is really just great to get nominated ... and to see your name on that list."
Nominations for the Silver Logie for most popular actor include Home and Away's Beau Brady, McLeod's Daughters' Myles Pollard and comedian Glenn Robbins for the ABC's Kath and Kim.
Home and Away stars Tammin Sursok and Bec Cartwright are also up for a Silver Logie for most popular actress.
Under the best new talent category are Home and Away's Kip Gamblin and Neighbours star Stephanie McIntosh, who happens to be Jason Donovans little sister.
"I am getting great feedback," McIntosh said of her Neighbours character, Skye.
"People seem to relate to her and the issues she holds or speaks up to."
Channel Seven's Sunrise program host David Koch was nominated for a Silver Logie for most popular TV presenter, pitted against Ernie Dingo, Jamie Durie, Andrew G and Rove McManus.
"I feel like an absolute dork standing here," Koch said of receiving the nomination.
"It is all a bit strange (but) you can't help but be excited."
Nominated for most popular Australian program are All Saints, Blue Heelers, Home and Away, McLeod's Daughters, Neighbours, Rove Live and Australian Idol.
Jennifer Aniston, Jennifer Garner, Ray Romano, Kiefer Sutherland and Australia's Simon Baker were nominated for most popular overseas TV star.
International pop star Anastacia, Australian Idol duo Guy Sebastian and Shannon Noll and Canadian crooner Michael Buble will entertain the crowd on the night as will a special troupe of circus company Cirque du Soleil performers.
The event, hosted by Eddie McGuire, will be televised live on Channel Nine from Melbourne's Crown Entertainment Complex.
