IT'S 9am in Grace Bros, Pitt St and two Year 8 schoolgirls suddenly run towards the ladies' apparel section, squealing.
No, they haven't seen a gorgeous bra – they've seen Paulini, Shannon (pictured), Guy and Cosima.
"Oh. My. God. Can I hug you?" one of the girls asked Shannon, the request then followed by a stream of Grace Bros employees lining up for hugs.
Such is the effect of the Idol gang that, as they shopped for bras for National Breast Cancer Awareness Day yesterday, the entire first floor of the store came to a halt.
"It's incredible. It's like this all the time now," the country NSW singer told Confidential. "I still can't get over how people know my name."
More than 1000 bras will be strung along the south end of Bondi today in support of the 10,000 women diagnosed with breast cancer each year.
