Missing cut a bit of a drag

SYDNEY entertainer Courtney Act may not have made the cut in Australian Idol but her alter ego Shane Jenek is not giving up.
Now that Courtney is well and truly established, Shane wants to have a go.
"I'm going to be patient, I don't want to be one of those people who you don't hear of in six months," he said.
"Before the show I thought I would be disappointed, but I'm glad I got to this stage."
We doubt we've seen the last of either of them.

CENTREBET reckons Victorian Robert Mills is the favourite to take out the Australian Idol competition.
The online betting agency has predicted the men have more chance of winning the competition, as only two women have ever won the Idol competitions staged around the world.
In second place is Queensland's Matt Chadwick, followed by Shannon Noll and Peter Ryan from NSW. Cute Lauren Buckley is the first-placed girl, followed by Cle.

And, just like in the TV show, it's the people who get the last vote and in our Daniel Wakefield -- Australian Idol or Australian Idiot poll -- Confidential readers have ruled he was an idiot, giving him 75 per cent of the vote.
