no they arent allowed if they got anyone reasonably good the previous year

I read in the paper today that auditions were down for this year's Idol and they were dropping standards. Don't know if that is true - knowing how acurate newspapers are and all. Still it only takes a handful or even one great talent to make a great show. Oh yeah and the same newspaper (different writer) thought Joel Turner's hometown was Adelaide and that he was performing there at a concert in Inala funded by the Brisbane City Council . [His hometown is Brisbane - southside for those interested and Inala is in Brisbane not Adelaide]

They're not allowed to audition again if they made the top 100, i think that's what i remember
