A while back I found out about a quiz night on Tuesday night. So I went along. The next night I went to the Wednesday quiz night I had been going to, and found that the quiz was the very same one as the night before! The two places got their quiz from the same guy. The person I was with and I weren't sure whether we should tell the people running the quiz but decided not to. We won the quiz easily even though we threw a few of the answers so as not to raise suspicion. We also won the jackpot, which was $150 cash. Since then I have every so often gone back to the Tuesday quiz so as to win prizes in the quiz the next day. We have actually found two Wednesday quizzes, both of which use the same quiz. On no occasion have I seen anyone from the Wednesday quizzes at that Tuesday quiz. They don't know our secret and we aren't going to tell them. This Tuesday I went to a different quiz, but after that quiz finished me and someone on my team drove down to the other quiz just so that we could could hear the jackpot answers. The jackpot is quite hard and rarely struck. We got the answers and tonight my friend and I went to the second Wednesday quiz we found out about and won a $250 bar tab. The question I have is whether what I've done is okay. My friend and I see it differently, and I'm interested to hear other views. As far as I'm concerned it's their problem if they order a quiz that is used elsewhere the previous night. I don't see what I've done as cheating.

I personaly think what you did was fine
I've heard of this happening before. It's their own dumb fault for using the same quiz.
It wouldn't be bothering my conscience anyway

The people running the quiz must be quite silly if They're doing this type of thing......I don't blame you for going back to win the money!

I don't know if I agree that they deserve blame for using the same quiz. In all likelihood they have no idea that there is a quiz night somewhere else the night before that uses the same quiz. The guy selling it to them wouldn't be likely to mention it since he would want to sell his quizzes, and he's not the one giving out the prizes. And as I said, aside from those in my team, no one else appears to know. One of the places is really far away from the quiz the previous night, so very unlikely to find the same people there.
