A book about Anthony Callea (naturally )
The book is a great read and starts from the beginning, his exploits with Say Yeah, (an hilarious part is when they are performing in Dubai ) to just before the release of his album.
QUOTE(excerpt from book) "Ricky Martin held the Highpoint crowd record until Anthony came along.
Anthony entered the centre via a back entrance. His manager Wendy came backtage. 'Are you ready?' she asked. 'Yep' There was a strange look on Wendy's face... 'I'm fine,' Anthony reassured her. 'But, are you ready?" 'Yes, Wendy, I am ready.' 'It's gonna be quite overwhelming once you go out there'. Wendy, I'll be fine.' 'There are a lot of people out there'. 'Wendy, I'll be fine.' Anthony was worried that Wendy had lost the plot.
He walked out onto the Highpoint stage. The wall of noise hit him. He froze. 'Holy s***t!' Anthony thought. 'Wendy was right' He was overwhelmed.
The marketing manager came up to him, 'Do you realise this is the biggest in-store we've ever had?
More than 5000 people had turned up to see Anthony.
He seems to be breaking all kinds of records, doesn't he! it promises to be a very enlightening read,
the book is released next month at around $15 ..... I guess it'll be available at bookstores like Angus & Robertson.
If you're an Anthony Callea fan, you'll love this

Who would waste paper printing the crapulent dross that is Callea's life story. It's a crime against the environment.

If the standard of that "highlight" that you quoted is indicative of the book, I think I'd prefer to read Malcolm Fraser's shopping list.

It is nice to see that third graders with learning difficulties can get their school projects mass published these days though. An angel stamp and a bubblegum scratch and sniff sticker for the author!

A book about Anthony Callea. That's the funniest thing I've heard all day.
Look out for the 24-part documentary series on the life and times of X-Factor runner-up Russell Gooley to hit TV screens shortly.

Darth that would be completely a fate worse than death...Russell Gooley most untalented human being to ever grace a television which is a big call considering the plodders inhabiting the Big Brother house currently! ;D He's a destitute man's Shannon Noll!

The paper from this book about Callea would surely be better used on a toilet roll.

Will a special edition miniature version of the book be released? Say 3" by 1"....the brilliant singer has a massive leprechaun fan base in Ireland.

The only thing worse than a book about Anthony Callea's life would be a book about Anthony Callea's life written in bush-ballad style by Rupert McCall.
"There's a feeling that you get, when Callea taps the mike, and all the teenage girls begin to drool, and that feeling is the same, as the one you felt that time, that you got your knackers trod on by a mule"
