Looking forward to seeing catty cowell in action. I know one of the other judges is Paula Abdul but who are the others or other? Is it 3 or 4 judges in U.S?

Yeah, Simon Cowell seems like a real tool. Everyone hated Dicko at first, but after awhile everyone could see he was only being harsh for the sake of being honest, and eventually everyone loved him. Simon, on the other hand, got booed by the audience on WI when he was introduced. I think he only says harsh comments for the sake of being an arsehole, not to be constructive.

Simon is absolutely funny in the new American Idol series. He just really says some horrible things at times...and sometimes just really funny things. I've been laughing throughout all of the auditions that have aired so far.

I watched american idol 2 stuff on oprah today. its so different to the aussie series I saw that as well-when they had that group song at the end, it really struck me that all the contestants seemed so similar in their style! I don't know if it was just cos they were singing in a group so they all adopted the same approach, but that never seemed to be the case in Aus Idol.

Yeah I read in tv week dat he's Michael's bro and used 2 be in The Jackson 5. Apparently he's really nice... like the Marcia of Oz Idol. You are kidding right?? He is not Michael's brother everybody...that's a different Randy Jackson. This one is a music producer...not a singer. And I think that Paula Abdul is more like your Marcia of Oz Idol.

(translation: How are you Swizzle my little Aussie friend?) From what I saw of him at World Idol...he seemed pretty reasonable. (Didn't see the Hobbit/ugly remark). I think that he would probably be more reasonable than Simon (mean, just mean). Dicko is supposed to be like our Simon, right?? The blunt mean one?? Well, Simon is awful...and funny sometimes!!

I was wondering the same thing? I was thinking gosh - covering all states in the US over all auditions I know how long it took us with the few states we have. I will be glad to skip a lot of the audition stuff (some of it is funny) but it gets a bit boring and get straight into the nitty gritty of the comp ;D I am going to be addicted as usual, I can feel it now, and with all the other reality TV coming on I am sure to become a hobbit and stay at home every night ;D
