Poor Asphirty!
I hope you feel better now that you know it was just a dream. It's amazing how the emotion of it stays with you after you've woken up though, isn't it?

Nah, its okay.
I remember a particularly nasty, horrible, worst nightmare type - something I never have. I always know when I'm dreaming usually.
And it was because of - would you believe it - mayonnaise??!!! Hubby and I had been on diet, and things were getting bland. In the end he couldn't sleep - was terrible - and had been like that for a week, but I had been having lemon juice on my salad. And then ran out and we had a week to go before I could shop again. So I had his mayo... I don't know how many nights it was but that dream was a corker!!!! (read torture).
So I put the two thing together in the morning when I could think... we stopped the mayo, and he slept that night and I've never had that brand again ever, and that was the end of that.
And other medications can do something similar, tho not so terrible. (I've had the "Tolstoy" dreams that last all night - not bad ones, but imagine living a "life" all the time you're asleep - moved that medication to at least before midday).
You poor thing. Its a wonder you could function.. It would make you feel quite sick. It's okay tho hon.
He's our Angel.

Oh Asphirty,
Be glad it was only a dream and that you woke out of it.
But they certainly can be realistic and frightening.
Leebella love your cat pictures. You must have a huge cache of them somewhere.

Asphirty... I have had a horrid Guy dream once. Was at Cass' house, it woke me, had me running around crying in a state of panic, acting out my dream while half asleep. It was the night before heading of to see an actual Guy concert, can't remember which one. Ooohhh, I'm shaking just thinking about....aahh, noooo, can't do this.....

For Guy, who believes, and for those who love him - so they will not worry:
“He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the LORD, [He is] my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust. Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, [and] from the noisome pestilence. He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth [shall be thy] shield and buckler. Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; [nor] for the arrow [that] flieth by day;” - Psalms 91:1-5
