The show not anything else!! Have you seen it,its hilarious. The wives get swapped for 2weeks I think and they usually end up with someone they are bound to hate. Its quite interesting to see peoples behaviuor change. They start off all polite then by the end of it they are yelling at each other. I can't think why they would subject theirselves to it and all the careful editing to make them look even worse. Surely it is not worth the 15 minutes of fame.

I've watched it twice, and its pretty interesting! They seem to like swapping two wives from completely different backgrounds... one fairly well off and the other usually on wellfare. The brunette on the show the other night acted like a complete feral!! Its definately great entertainment... I reckon I could handle it!

Yeah, it was funny. The vegan and the junk-food guy were both very strongheaded (they are the ones who usually clash of course) And their spouses were sort of nice and gentle. But the vegan was very controlling about what she wanted, and the junk food guy was bad-tempered and went off, swearing and the like, which annoyed the vegan. I think they all have a pretty good opinion/point of view to get across, but they usually paint one of them as the villain. Like the big woman from the week before, who didn't like mixed marriages, but ended up liking the family (well, except the "husband".)

I think the woman with the 8 kids was just very close to her family and got paranoid. I think the fact that she has so many children would make her miss them all the more, and the mother instinct would be really high.
I mean, the other couple esp. the woman were a bit snobby, though they were all just really happy with their own families, which is what everyone (or most) realise by the end.

I watched it for the first time this week with the "Health nut wife" versus the "junk food wife". I really enjoyed it and thought it was amazing how the health nut's(for want of a better word) husband happily went back to consuming milk and meat and smoking, looked to me like it wasn't his idea to give up those things! His wife was way too controlling if she wanted to eliminate those things from her diet that's ok but surely everyone else should be able to make their own choices? surely kid's need milk and meat in their diets even just in moderation? The junk food wife's husband was a complete jerk! But at least he realized his wife's worth in the end!

Yes, the vegan was militant that everyone around her follow her diet. Though it was a healthy diet, they did like the splurge. The kids can get by without meat and cow's milk if they are given alternatives, which she seems to know all about. She should ease up sometimes though. People like to make their own decisions ultimately!
And the junk food guy was funny- it was good seeing him appreciate his wife.

Its amazing to see what type of behaviour is acceptable in some relationships. This show has me thinking about it a lot afterwards. We all make compromises when we are with someone we love and what some people are prepared to accept is a lot different to what others will. There always seems to be a dominant and a non-dominant but a lot of times the one who is the quieter one is the boss really. I thought it was amazing that the guy who scoffed all the junk food was as thin as a stick........good metabolism I suppose. The vegan was a bit overpowering and did not stop to listen to anyone else's point of view. She just imposed her will upon everyone else. The idea of parenting too was vastly different while one was bringing her kids up with healthy eating and little outside supervision and parental involvement the other was not too concerned about nutrition and more about family life and togetherness. The social issues it brings up are amazing. I know it is a bit of a crappy show and they probably edit it ruthlessly to fit in with their way of manipulating our view of each person, but boy its got me hooked.
