Have you been in the sea lately? Took the kids to the beach this avo and it was 40c outside temperature. The sea was bloody freezing it was like an icy bath, even though it was hot in the sun i couldn't stay in too long before becoming goosebumped. That is on the central coast of NSW, is it like this everywhere? there was something on the news about it.

Went swimming in Rottnest two weeks ago. It was bloody freezing.
It's been quite low temperatures over here in Perth. Today is pretty humid. It's 11.20pm and I have all the doors open.

I want to go there nowww. My favourite beach is at Woolgoolga just north of Coffs Harbour. Its called Back Beach and is a surf beach but if you walk around the headland you come to loads of rockpools some big enough to swim in. And the whole beach is pure shells and driftwood. I could spend hours there combing through all those shells and pools and driftwood. Red Rock up there is also fabulous. The water is that lovely aqua colour and you can see for miles just beach and no houses to spoil the view.
