Yesterday I tried on the scent we know Guy likes - Fahrenheit by Christian Dior. It really is an incredibly striking smell - loved it on my skin, had some sprayed on a card, so I have the card in front of me now, smelling it. For those who didn't read the post, Guy was being interviewed at a radio station, and they commented that he smelled nice and asked what he was wearing - he said, Fahrenheit, he bought it himself. ...... the interviewers kept interupting him about being about to get freebies now - but he was sincere, saying he bought it. If you're serious about wanting to buy some of this read on - OK I often surf perfume sites for bargains and came up with the best price I could find on line in comparison with David Jones Retail - here goes: ================================= David Jones in the shops Retail: Fahrenheit 50ml edt spray $ 90.00 100ml $ 128.00 Aftershafe Dab 50ml $ 64.00 (Not bad) 100ml dab $ 95.00 =========================== Compared the above prices with this site: from Shoppers Direct online (I’ve bought through them before within Australia – very efficient) www.shoppersdirect.com.au/designer_cat03.php?desid=190In this site click on 'for him' or mens fragrances, then click on Christian Dior: Fahrenheit 50ml edt (eau de toilette) spray $ 59.00 100ml edt $ 89.00 200ml edt $ 115.00 Postage $ 6.95 in Australia ============================== Here’s what a 100ml bottle looks like: =============================== Sweet dreams

Well, it's an expensive way to buy by 6 nephews a birthday present (well, I'll pass on the 10 year old, although he thinks Guy is great).
.....the temptation to buy each one a bottle throughout the year is certainly there - wow, would certainly have to spread out the budget, keep buying my clothes from op shops.... ah well, maybe for just a couple - some already have their favourites.
......it really is a beautiful mens' scent though. I am also registered on a perfume chat site - people (who really understand every detail about perfumes) on the site come from all eschalons of society - from the low income earner who will forgo expensive clothes and buy at op shops so they can buy buy quality perfume....to..... the rich and famous, royalty etc etc.
NOW - Fahrenheit is one of the mens' favourites (It's in the top 5 from memory) - so Guy really DOES have good taste.

I confess to skulking around the perfume section at department stores to discover what that smells like. I haven't found it yet though!

...For those who didn't read the post, Guy was being interviewed at a radio station, and they commented that he smelled nice and asked what he was wearing - he said, Fahrenheit... Guy likes to smell nice it seems. Can you remember Andrew G chatting with GUY after he sang on Idol one show and he stopped mid sentence & said "Man you smell like a million dollars tonight!" ? I want a wiff! I confess to skulking around the perfume section at department stores to discover what that smells like. I haven't found it yet though! Head straight to the Dior counter the next time you're in Myer, superc.

Yes, the sign is pretty big - sometimes it says "Christian Dior", other times "Dior" - in David Jones it's Christian Dior

I agree Penny- I'd like to see a range of things he likes be abel to be purchased - his unique style - plenty of caps (love that orange one he wore in American Idol). Love some of his beanies.
He likes to buy old t-shirts from op shops and team them up with really exy jeans.

If you're familiar with bidding on ebay a 50 ml bottle of Fahrenheit went yesterday for about $45 - so that's another place to watch for bargains too (check the seller has good feedback and read the fineprint/postage costs).
