I missed Australian Idol last night and have been a follower since it started. I was absolutely appalled when I found out Paulini was in the final three to be eliminated. The idea behind this show is great, however it needs to stop at the final 10 and let the judges or even a different panel of judges vote from then on. What I hate about it now is that even the final 10 are getting criticised against one another when they are all talented performers. The voting stinks. You get people voting for a singer that probably would be better on a soapie show. I agree with Marcia. What about the voice and performance. In my view there are only two performers left who I find it hard to choose between, because they are both very different in the way they perform. Even the comments by some of the judging panel tends to be over the top and not necessary. Certainly the organisers didn't give a care about the performers feelings. They just want the ratings which they would have received anyway even if parts of this show had been handled differently. The way they call out the ones who are out each week and call out one extra each time is absolutely crap! So take note organisers and make some changes if you run this show again!
