 On tonight's show, Mark Holden mentioned that some uneccessary comments were made by an ex-idol-contestant about who "could" win Australian Idol... I seemed to have been living in a cave this past week, cuz I missed what was said!!! Who made these comments and what were they?? Thanks anway!!

It was made by Cle on Rove last week.
When she was asking about getting voted off she said something like "Common, a black women winning Australian Idol? I don't think so."

 I don't know how anyone could say that Australia was "racist" in who they decided to vote out ... 3 of 4 contestants voted out so far were white.... so I don't know what' she's complaining about.... Maybe she's in denial about her lack of singing ability.  Ofcourse there's still Mills who doesn't have a voice, yet seems to get by each week.... hmmmm.....  let's hope he goes... sorry

It's comments like that and the one that Cle made on Rove that create and perpetuate inter-racial misunderstanding. I lost the respect that I had for Cle when she lamely offered up the excuse that Australia would never choose a "Black Chic Idol" |

All the way through the competition Cle has shown heaps of attitude, but it wasnt until Rove that I realised that it was just a bit Hip and a bit of Sass thinly veiling what amounts to BAD ATTITUDE

 Judging by Mark Holden's reaction, I doubt Cle's comments were seen as sarcastic... And even if they were they don't help race relations.   Also, if Australia were so "racist" in the first place, why would they vote CLE, PAULINI, GUY & LEVI into the top 10 in the first place?  Exactly..... I think it comes down to a combination of bad attitude, and bad singing ;D.... ;D

edsactly. more then half the contestants left are from a differet background other then australia. if you dont hav the right attitude 4 aussie idol the you are out. i think paulini has quite a good attitude 4 idol bcuz she always seems so classy. levi seems like the idol type 2 cuz he is like really cool and cosima seems like a sweety, rob is a funny one and guy seems like a pretty all round nice guy. bek seems like she has a beutiful personality and shannon has the all round aussie bloke attitude, and this is aussie idol  |
