Well tonight was no surprise...if Lauren can't handle one rejection then she really needs to grow up....if she wanted to leave with a good reputation then she should have tried harder....
As for Bek she should have been out she chocked yesterday and a cold is no excuse from the sound of it they were all pretty run down and sick but the others didn't complain...

Yep, Lauren has a lot of growing up to do...
Big ups to Cle for the graceful exit!

Yeah, I was sorry to see Cle get voted off the island, but stepping in to bolster Lauren was the mark of a true champion and I hope we haven't seen the last of her.

Cle shouldn't have gone - and Lauren had overstayed her welcome - GLAD to see her gone!

Ditto that!
I didn't watch the show - but that was the correct decision. I'm surprised that Rebekah survived - think she'll be the next one. I thought Cle maybe deserved another chance but she blew it big time with a bad performance so that's showbiz!

i agree...the right choice was made in regards to Lauren. Yes she has a great voice (can't knock it coz i sure as hell can't sing), but a performer needs to be able to accept rejection, put it in her stride and move on...unfortunately she couldn't do that.
Cle's exit...what a disappointment. One bad performance and out she goes. I don't think we've seen the last of her though.
As for Bek..I am a big fan of hers, but I was shocked to see Kelly in the bottom 3 and not her. I really hope she gets over that cold of hers because she is an awesome talent and Australia needs to see it!
My picks to win...Paulini or Shannon...those two deserve every compliment they get...awesome voices, awesome talent!

Just on Cle starting off Lauren's song for her, even with just that tiny little snippet I thought that she wouldn't have been going home if SHE had sung Lady Marmalade.

well what a sore loser, lauren, you need to grow up, you should be proud of how far you got, a lot further that many others. Jeese why cant you put it down to a great expierence, I know you would have had a great time, not only with the show, but others public appearances. You are only 17, a long way to go love, as I said put it down to exp and learn, you should have held your head high, you just made a fool of yourself in the end.
I know what it is like I was on NEW FACES with Daryl Sommers in 1989, I came 4th out of 8, but the fact I didnt win did not enter the equation, I was just pleased that I had got that far after all 100s, had auditioned, JUst to get on the show was enough . It was the best exp I ever had, and now I have a great video to show my kids. Never give up try again in a few years. You learn by your big mistakes. you have to learn to take the good with the bad, and unfortunaltly in show biz there is more bad than good.

Ithink your being a bit harsh on Lauren ok she was a bit emotional but hey she's only 17 it's all pretty big to her she is a good singer but maybe just a bit young. But i'm with you about Cle she's beautiful with agreat voice i don't think she was ready to go yet but good luck to them both.

OMG namoos i actually said that well Cle was singing it.
On Lauren, I think shes awesome and I'm glad all the other top 10ers supported her so much.
This is from the official sites recap: "Lauren stood on stage and began to weep. "
Holy crap, could they be any more cold hearted!

i do feel compassion for lauren. she's up there on the stage, feeling like shit, full of emotion and trying to get her composure together. i believe she really had her heart in this comp and tried her best, so i think it's harsh to say she should have left gracefully, cos when you are up there, emotions flying, tearing you up, you gotta deal with yourself before thinking, oh i must give a good final performance and leave happily on a positive note. that's what i love about her - her heart seems set on singing. and i can hear that in her voice.

I agree that Lauren needed to go which is sad cos I am from the central coast too, but she does have a good voice and I think a few more years and some growing up will help and then she could really take the world on,basically she was too young and immature. I am extremely sad to see Cle go because I thought she was great she had guts and personality. The song she sang was deadly boring with no demand or stretch to show off her talent. I am amazed that Bek got away with it and if I was her I would down on my knees thanking someone. She needs to focus and get her act together. That being said I do like her hope she steps up to the plate! Best performance in my book was Paulini(again)for talent and levi for style. Not keen on Kelly its just not my thing but she does have a good voice. There must be a lot of mums voting for Shannon he is rather nice looking and did a great song. Looking forward to next weeks aussie music. I like the way they all look out for each other and all seem to care about each other, and I hope the tv doesn't try to go searching for that bitchy content that is the usual norm for reality tv shows.

Lauren is such a selfish little bitch because cle had the equal right to be as sad as her when she got kicked but oh no it was all about Lauren. The judges, audience, contestants were all paying their attention to Lauren and Cle got pushed to the back and forgotten about. I did feel a bit sorry for Lauren though because she looked so confident beforehand.

actually, i was probably too harsh in saying that about Lauren, at least she acknowledged Cle in an interview. I know how hard it is to really try and hold back tears but they come out anyway. But I still dont think she deserved to make it this far, even to the top twelve in place of a person that can really sing. There was no way in hell she was going to win. Just look at Kelly Clarkson, what a polished performer! Lauren next to her would look completely talentless. But was it really neccesary for Lauren to cry in every episode? Oh well, she doesnt have anything to worry about because at least she will be a hero at her school.
