Hi all,
Many of you know about our Candian Guy Army and their campaign to generate numbers to DEMAND that Sony/BMG release Guy’s music in North America. A forum has been started and many of the Australian army have joined and are actively generating members. The goal, of course, being to “convert” more local fans to help the Canadian army get Guy released (and tour over there). If you haven’t yet joined, please do, here’s the link:

Through the Best Music site, Prinia and I have gotten to know the fans of the latest Canadian Idol, Kalan Porter, and they seem to be a very passionate lot. They are happy to learn about bit more about Guy, but would also like to promote Kalan with Aussies, leading up to the rumoured World Idol 2 in Winter. Like Guy, Kalan is a muso, playing electric violin on stage in his concerts, and has adoring fans, who would do anything to help out their boy (he even has a fro – weird coincidence). For more information about Kalan, his site is:

So, we are arranging a CD swap. We are buying copies of BL and sending them to the Kalan fans, and they are doing the same for us, sending us copies of Kalan’s debut CD. We have quite a few Isounders interested in being part of the swap, and it would be great to get some more of the Aussie army involved.
If you have already expressed interest in this idea on Isound, I have sent you a PM about how we propose to move forward there.
If you are interested in being part of this project, please PM me at Isound or Proboards, or email me:
Guyisfab @ yahoo.com. au (with no spaces) and let me know.
Many of us think this is a great way to promote Guy to the fans we are really keen to target (Nth Americans), and it certainly can’t hurt to buy some more BLs to send over. I hope you will all become involved, the power is truly in numbers, and the push for North America could be a great way for Sony/BMG to take an international release seriously.
Thanks for taking the time to read this ;D
