I THINK ITS TIME THAT WE START THINKING OF WHO SHOULD REALLY WIN!!! LETS REALLY THINK ABOUT IT. COSIMA IS OKEY, BUT HAS TOO MANY PROBLEMS AND WHEN U REALLY THINK ABOUT WOULDNT REALLY SELL MANY RECORDS. SHANNON IS GOOD AND HE IS A GOOD SINGER WITH CERTAIN ARES, BUT GUY ON THE OTHER HAND IS AN ALL ROUNDER. HE HAS THE POTENTIAL TO BE THE BEST AUSTRALIAN ARTIST THROUGH OUT THE WORLD. I HAVE KNOWN GUY PERSONALLY FOR A FEW YEARS AS HE IS MY SINGING TEACHER. SO BE SMART, GUY IS THE ALTIMATE PACKAGE, HE HAS THE BEST PERSONALITY, CAN WRITE AWSOME SONGS WITH EASE AND CAN SING LIKE AN ANGEL. SO DONT KID YOURSELF AND VOTE GUY!

i think the general public will pick Shannon as the winner beacause he is too ordinary and too common that most people on the street could relate to regardless of his singing talent. Remember this is Australia not America . We pick parochial mediocre talents. We're not ready for GUYS OR PAULINIS

Yeah Hellfat, I guess the reason I haven't really voted for Shannon over the last weeks (although he did an outstanding performance on Sunday) was because I was bored with his blokesy style, which have had around Aus for a long time now. how bout we try something else.
Australia needs to GROW a bit - step out of our comfort zones and "matey" stereotypes. In other words, Shannon =blokesy, pubby, predictable, seen it before, everyone's mate, needs a lot of assistance.
Guy= new terrain, intriguing and interesting, funky, autonomous creative factor, pushing the boundaries, the cheeky fro image. ethnic background provides versatility and variety to Aussie sound. Outstanding vocal ability
Feel the fear and do it anyway Australia - vote for guy Frags

Right on Hellfat. We got plenty of great singers like Cosima and Shannon (and they are great) but man, there's not a lot of people in the world can sing like Guy sings. I've said it before and he's one of those rare people that can change people's lives with his singing. I didn't want him to win because I think he's better than that crappy talent show, but now I just want him to win anyway. If he goes, I go - I only watch that show to hear him.

I think Guy has what it takes....he already has his own dress style and the way he holds himself - that will be marketable...and an trademark voice (like it or not) that with a great song choices will create mega hits. In order to break into other countries eg) US, you've got to have a distinct image, which this Fro dude already has - take for example fellow aussies Kylie, Natalie Embruglia, Holly Valance - these people made it BIG oversease because of their IMAGE and catchy songs. Furthermore, guy composes his own song, he'll be a respected artist - so he'll stay around for a longer time.
Cosima and Paulini have great voices but there are singers out there with better voices or at least more memorable voices. Also they don't really have a strong character that makes them rememberable, so would really need to change their image to be marketable. It just means more work and may not necessarily reflect their true self - bad in the long run. They'll be like a Christina Anu or Tina Arena...local but still terrific talent.
Shannon on the otherhand, sings at Karaoke standards and his image isn't really appealing oversease. Unless he decides to go all poppy, writes his own music and the girls forget he's married - he'll be another Scott Cain.

ive said it before and i'll say it again, guy is probably the only one left who can crack america etc and make it big. He has the voice, the edge and the image. Cosima is good but im afraid she'd just be a local talent and shannon, well he'd be better heading for the adult market eg country. im afraid he's to ''old'' to be an idol, teens can't relate to him-he's got kids and a fiance for gods sake! And i agree with previous comments, picking guy will show what a multicultural nation we are, we need a bit of flavour in our 'australian' mix-enough of the jimmy barnes wanabees lets bring in something different! go guy

what great comments. i've been grinding away under truthseeker and truthseeker too.with the same opinion. now they have had guy relegated to the bench the public may be happy now. i thought the voters were blind until i read hellfats and shiranees thread just now. kareoke shannon and curvydumb cosima. i would not walk across the road to see them perform, but guy i could listen to over and over. he is no stereotype like most of our recent performers. we want another farnsy or better ,we have the chance. the judges have to up the ante and get the message through. they didn't do it sunday much to their chagrin. you watch them go next sunday. this will arouse them from their slumber.

I hope the Judges do "up the ante" as Marcia is so fond of saying. Did she influence the votes on Sunday night to vote for Cosima? Did Delta Goodrum influence all her impressionable fans by saying she is going for Cosima and making it public at the Arias? Maybe Delta didn't want any genuine competition. Maybe she feels that if Cosima wins, then her position as present Queen of Australian music is safe.

Well just thought I'd correct you by saying that Delta in fact said she supported all of the finalist - because they were all great.

I was really worried that the voting public would take Delta's comments to Cosima the wrong way. It was the reporter who asked her if she was still supporting Cosima, Delta actually said that they were all good. Ok so she gave Cosmia a nice hug. It just proves that Delta is a nice person, it does not mean that people should vote for Cosima. A hug from Delta does not a winner make ! It seems that most of the text posted so far on this stream is for Guy.........so on Sunday, all you supporters, get your phones ready and vote your little fingers off

Gotta admit, Shannon was great on the Big Band Hits theme, but I always seem to be bored by him. Go Guy!

Please explain what is SO unique about Guy's voice?? There's no denying he has a great voice but I've heard it before.. its just another r 'n' b soul voice.... I get bored with Guy's performances.. no matter what he's singing he dances the same, sings the same every time. He's never had a challange. I wish they's ask him to sing rock or something so we could actually see his talent a little more.. they made rob and shannon perform soul and r 'n' b.. and they pulled it off..
