Hi anuverwillfan! Yeah, I wished he sang a different song on WI because I knew that rock purists would not like his take on "Light My Fire" and I knew he would not win. It was the first time I had ever heard him sing before. But he eventually left the biggest impression on me. I was singing that song, and even (jokingly) imitating his phrasing- "IIIIf I were to say to you, we couldn't much high-er. Come on baby li-i-ight my fi-re..."! And I liked that snippet I heard on the show of another song he sang. Thanks for the links! I will buy his new CD. I know it will be interesting and not manufactured poppy. It certainly isn't manufactured pop, Marcia - thank God! If you were a member I could pm you a link to a UK web-site where the tracks are being discussed - but I don't really want to post it up here! I can't remember now which song they showed a snippet of on WI But it will obviously be a Pop Idol clip so can be found Sorry Marcia, links removed - please pm me!

Thanks again anuverwillfan. I'll look around the web more when I get the CD and get to know Will's music better. Oh, and the song he sang goes something like, "When you turn on your smile..."
And Pinkline- in all honesty, you're "personality" on this board is somewhat tired after the end of Australian Idol. You're really milking yourself (literally). Like Cosima's nodules interpreted from Delta- "You're just so predictable...I want you to know I know your game...It's so unbelievable how you never change..."
I'm playing the piano part now...

'' When you turn on your smile'' is a line from 'Sweetest Feeling'. Will sang it on Pop Idol in the final 3 and it was awesome. Think it was one of the judges choice songs. The audience and judges went wild.

AnuverWillieSham,
No I've never been to America but I did once feel nauseous on my trip to the ginger factory in Buderim. Is that close enough?

Anuverwilliefan,
I'd rather have a colonoscopy with a jackhammer than have to suffer Will's bowel-filling vocal output.

Pinkline - These posts are not directed at you so why do you keep responding as if they are? I'm talking to people who are not afraid to take a chance .... or who have an objective approach. If you're not interested why not stay away? Let me let you into a secret ...... the world does NOT revolve around you!

Anuverwilliefan,
Well you're wrong - because the world DOES revolve around me. I have been kind enought to give up some of my valuable time to devote it to helping people like you come to terms with reality.

Dear Anuverdillfan, I think you're in a losing battle here with Pinky. Just as the Lord works in mysterious ways his wonders to perform, so does Pinky's brain work in mysterious ways his insults to let fly. I would give up now before he renders you even more brain-addled. TQ
