The worst person I've ever seen on TOTP would have to be an American, Kelly Rowland. She sang so far off key my ears hurt

lol, so you're not a God/Mod after all Think i'll still call you God though, I like it as a nickname, short for Goddess and all that So, you're a gal too right, off to have a look around the forum PS Young Larry, at least Kelly put the effort in to sing live, most acts on TOTP's can't be bothered these days and mime. Give me an off key live performance, warts and all, over a pretty looking manequin mouthing words to a soundtrack in some kind of pretence that fools no one any day Bob Dillon maybe didn't have one of the best voices in the world but it didn't stop him being one of the most influencial acts ever Hooray for live music and live singers everywhere!

I strongly doubt Kelly becoming one of the most influential stars ever...

So you guys obviously never had the privilege of seeing Ray Sundance in concert at the Tweed Heads Smokehouse back in 1978 or so.

Just out of curiosity, does anyone still break through in England unless they are under 30 or look extraordinary good? It's been ages since I've seen anyone come there from on the charts here, wich I recall didn't look pretty.. I also know that some people in the record companies have gotten the responses like 'Great music, and funny lyrics, but is looks over 30 years, so no deal' on people like 'Morten Abel' (Recomended song to hear; Birmingham Hoe).. I've not seen much coming over here to Norway, what I'm wondering is if they still break through nationally, like we still have some cases of here in Norway, this is also something I wonder about other countries?

The modern pop culture is about looks and it has few redeeming features. Switch to classical.

I listen to classical music during my downtimes. I like Mascagani - Cavalleria Rusticana.

Wow - that piece is one of my favourites - sublime music - used in opening sequence "Raging Bull"

I were hoping to see were I should look for good music, not playboy models, I like classical music also, not the piano plinging, but more instrumental soft score (hard to translate), i.e. Enigma and stuff like that..
