Don't worry, it's better that you don't get betting stuff. Gambling money sux in my books anyways :>
In any case, it just means that Kelly and Guy are the hot favourites to win W.I at the moment according to Centrebet.

The information is on the Australian centrebet site. Just type in www.centrebet.com.au and you will be directed to the site. Click on future events once there and choose the entertainment section to find the W.I odds listing.

From the WI contestants I have heard (Guy, Kelly, Peter, Heinz and Ryan) Kelly and Guy would be favourites perhaps with Heinz who sounds pretty good. Others no where near Guy and Kelly.

thanks again syrup,, to the uninformed ,centrebet australia have framed the market according to what they know of the ABILITYof the contestants. they are one of the world's leading legal betting institutions and have recently gained the usa as a client.i just bet there not work..eg if you hads followed the australian idol betting you would have known the winner 2 weeks earlier,, 4.00 means invest $ 1 to get $4 a profit of$3 i was juuuust trying to help you ascertain who the favourites are and in what order, if as syrup says you go to the site you will find the odds change as money is placed. no i don't suggest you bet, just keep an eye on the proceedings. you can bookmark the site if you wish

Truthseeker, you're welcome.
The final result should be interesting. I'm not saying that it would be a fair reason to lose by, but as has been stated elsewhere, when it comes to the actual voting, Kelly might suffer a little from the anti-U.S sentiment happening these days. Politics and music have a definite fusion however pronounced or subtle it may be at times.
As far as the Pan-Arabic idol goes, I'd be interested to know which other countries aside from Saudi Arabia, Lebannon and Jordan would come under this umbrella. My curiosity stems from the fact that voters will be restricted from voting in favour of their country's rep. In this case, Diana Karazon would be losing out on many votes from her own region given the amalgamation of countries she represents in the comp. This will put a damper on tribal voting in her situation.
I hope that true talent is rewarded in the end. In vain as my wish might be, I hope politics, religion and other such factors irrelevant to performing don't play a major part in the final result. Having said that, I'm so very proud of our own Guy. Imho, he genuinely deserves to be listed as top 2 so far on the Centrebet site.

yes syrup, what you say is fascinating. a lot depends on who watches the show. because the middle east is represented it sheds new light doesn't it? how are they fairly going to proportion the voting ,per capita or per tv owner the less well off will possibly not even watch also if the voting were to be toll free even ,would you vote often for another country at guys expense? it was i who mentioned a possible anti american vote. it wouldn't surprise me if another factor is yet to be placed into the equation..

Did some snooping around and can confirm the following countries had contestants representing them in the final 12 for the Pan-Arabic Idol crown: Algeria, Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Palestine, Syria and the UAE. Apparently, patriotic voting ran wild throughout the comp (as would be expected). Diana Karazo(u)n is supposed to have won with around 53% of the final votes, which were around the 4.8 million mark. Interestingly enough, internet voting was also an option in this competition though I haven't yet found details of the exact set up. In anycase, it might well prove a blow to Diana if none of the above countries can vote for her. My source for the above is here: www.arabiestrends.com/Business.htm
