Hey Mod
Do you think we might need a new thread for us regs. We are taking over a bit in the GB section. We have discussed upsetting others by our stupidness. Even though it's general, we do knock off serious posts with our goofiness. We don't want to leave, just respect other people's views.
What's your take on it?

Guest should not be able to access let alone be able to post on the members area board at australianidol.proboards22.com/index.cgi?board=membersall members are "special" in one way or another

I think the guests might be annoyed that they don't have the ability to lurk (ie read the posts) in the Members Only section. I'm all for not allowing them to post in that section til they become members, but there's no reason to stop them from reading it.
I think the exclusiveness (in not being allowed to read it) is getting them annoyed more than anything, cause that's where it gets really cliquey. If the guests decide to read the members section, then get offended at the 'pointless' posts, then that's their fault and they can stay out.
(Plus I don't tend to sign in, but love reading what the members get up to ;D)
What does everyone else think?

However, I think that there is not much we can do to soothe the wrath of the so-called "guests". No matter what we do these guest or "members in disguise" will continue to post what they post. If the members board is changed to "guest can read, but can't post" then they will still say stuff like "elitist" post etc etc. Don't get me wrong. If the mod changes the members board so the guest can read...I'm absolutely okay with that. My concern is that we shouldn't start changing everything to suit the needs of these so-called "guests" who make trouble, rather than contribute to the boards. My two cents. ;D GT
