Hey Everyone, We, in the Guy Army, have proven to be a very effective and proactive force. So I thought that we should again pool our resources and efforts to start an ITEM/GOODS DONATION DRIVE for the disaster victims. Good on ya Reggie.....your heart's nearly as big as ya hair!
I'm with Prinia up here......my $$$ will go to Pac Fair (on the GC) as they are matching dollar for dollar.....well done Pacific Fair!! But yes, we'll be in touch, and I'm ready, willing and able to also send an 'aid' package to you too.....let me know what's needed.
This is an absolute horrific disaster of massive proportion.......makes you wonder how we can be so lucky!
*hopes Mr Cashmere is keeping up on current affairs overseas and realises where priorities should lay*

Hi Everyone!
Just a quick update:
The vigil in Sydney is to be held on SUNDAY JANUARY 9th! Sorry about that!! Got the dates mixed up.
So far we have the following volunteers to organize the vigils in their city:
MIDSUMMER -ADELAIDE AMBS - BRISBANE
SO we still need someone for Melbourne and Perth and other cities.
So for the vigils please contact those people in your area. And remember THE POWER OF PRAYER AND THE SPOKEN CARING WORD ARE ENORMOUS! So feel free to just rock up!!!!
Peace and Blessings,
Reggie
PS for anyone coming to the Sydney Vigil please PM me and I will PM you my details - address and phone numbers.

I'm rolling out the new production infrastructure for the conversion project I've been working on for the past year that weekend - ALL weekend from Friday 9th - Monday 12th. There's no way I can attend but I will donate a kit.

While I'm happy about the outpouring of assistance, I do wonder why the sudden assistance when the humanitarian need was EXACTLY the same on December 25, before the Tsunami occured. BEFORE this disaster we had like a billion or so of the world's inhabitants in just as much need as the people left in need by this disaster. In fact those billion were, and now are, in more need than the people affected by this disaster, starving and afflicted by disease. Suddenly there's an outpouring of assistance towards a few hundred thousand people, giving one the impression that people were totally ignorant of the major humanitarian needs present before this tragic event. The challenge for the world now is to keep giving AFTER people affected by this event receive assistance. Because even if the problem is removed, there's still one billion people starving and homeless. Vigils are good, but should have been started BEFORE this event. People are ALWAYS starving and homeless around the world. Has everyone forgotten this?
