Casey Donovan will support - A KOALA - at western Sydney's iconic Featherdale Wildlife Park on Monday, June 27 in support of Save the Koala Month (July).

Casey will be taking time out of her hectic schedule this coming Monday, June 27 to drum up some much needed support for a national icon that is quickly disappearing from the wild.
The true blue singer will cuddle up for a good cause by adding a koala to her family tree when she is presented with her very own bundle of fluff through the Australian Koala Foundation's Foster a Koala program.
Casey, who was known throughout her IDOL experience as an animal lover and whose good luck charm was a toy rat, says: "I can't wait to meet my koala! I absolutely love animals and koalas are just so adorably cute."
"When I discovered that Australia is in danger of losing this native treasure in as few as 15 years I was wondering 'What's Going On' and just had to jump behind the cause."
Casey will get up close and personal to little fuzza Murray who loves sleeping, munching on eucalypt leaves and smiling for photos and is just one of the 14 Australian Koala Foundation foster koalas housed at Featherdale where they are safe, well fed and happy.
If you have heard the saying you can pick your friends but not your family, than forget it, because through this special adoption program you can choose your very own koala relative and become its real-life foster Mum and Dad whilst helping save wild koalas. All proceeds go towards wild koala research and conservation programs.
With Save the Koala Month (July) on our doorstep the time is ripe to sing up a koala storm just like Casey and adopt a cuddly, snuggly koala through the Foundation or donate a dollar at any Westpac bank, Perfect Potion, Dreamworld, koala friendly pharmacies or newsagents or at
www.savethekoala.com Once Casey has been dragged away from her new 'bundle of joy' she will continue to with her busy schedule promoting her new single 'Flow', out on Sunday, July 24.
Get along and say hi to these little beauties!
