Happy Harrison meets his idol CARMEN SWADLING Monday, 3 May 2004 HARRISON Lee's Shannon Noll T-shirt is so big it hangs past his knees. A devoted fan: Harrison Lee wasn’t allowed into Friday’s concert but it workedout pretty well for the three-year-old. Pic: AARON MURPHY He might be just three but Harrison could be vying for the title of Shannon Noll's biggest fan. But he wasn't big enough to get a ticket for Friday's show, being under the age of 10. That left him stranded out the front of the Port Panthers auditorium watching the 'big people' sail in. He wasn't happy, to say the least. But a turn of events late Friday saw Shannon's management sneak Harry and his parents Ros and Neil backstage for a special meeting that will leave Harry talking for months, possibly years, said his mother. "He's the only kid I know of his age who knows all the words to Shannon's songs," she said. "He loves him. Whenever his songs come on the radio we have to turn them up." But the special meeting spun the usually talkative three-year-old into a quiet kid. "I've never seen Harry lost for words," Ros said. "He was just flabbergasted." Harry and his parents spent several minutes with Shannon backstage, where he had a photograph taken and his T-shirt autographed. "He asked Harry questions and gave him a hug. He was really lovely," Ros said. By Saturday morning Harry already had had his photo with Shannon enlarged and framed. The last time Harry participated in show and tell at his preschool he took along his Shannon CD and sung to his classmates. "Next time he will be taking real Shannon stuff," she said. portmacquarie.yourguide.com.au/detail.asp?class=news&subclass=local&category=general%20news&story_id=303823&y=2004&m=5

Oh I'm getting jealous of Shannon fans getting to see a whole concert!
I can't wait for Guy to sing for a whole show. I know I've just been to see him sing at the AGMF but it's not enough.

Mon, May 03, 2004 Asher is aiming for fame KRISTY GRANT TALLANGATTA High School student Asher Huntley is on his way to stardom after a successful audition in Melbourne for Australian Idol. Huntley, 16, who has performed with Alburys HotHouse Theatre was shocked to be given a pink slip and make it through to the second cut after his rendition of Green Days Time Of Your Life. Huntley joined more than 5000 would-be stars who braved the cold weather and camped outside Melbourne Park for Saturday mornings audition. He admitted he had not sung in front of many|people before and was surprised at his performance. www.bordermail.com.au/newsflow/pageitem?page_id=714800

Appologies to those I offended with my post. It was meant to be lighthearted and a joke. I think Shannon is a great guy and have supported him with my comments and have his album. So please don't think that this was in anyway a bagging of him. I was just mucking around and yes Guy has done similar things so I was just commenting that they both really care about their fans. Again I do appologies if it came across in any way other than I intended. xxBo

oh apologies accepted Bo! It is probably one of those days when you have decided to be mischievous..I have read some of your other posts and that was an unusual post..you are not normally like that at all. But seriously..I am a Shannon fan through and through and if I read something like that that is mocking of him even when he does something good or any post that is ridiculously unsound, I'd stand up for him just like you would should it be the other way around!! My stand is that although I am not a Guy fan, he has earned my respect.. he won the title fair and square and I'd say his music, his style appeals to a lot more people than Shann but not to me and I would not in any way put him down. Now this is what you all have to acknowledge, their musical approach is soooo different and they are both excellent in the genre they have chosen. In fact if anybody put him and Shannon down and teh whole AI 1 phenomena, I would stand up and support BOTH him and Shannon and the show. This is the true battle. And I'd be worried about other things about Guy... Guy not making it overseas.. not Asia but the big markets.. I'd love him to ..well if fans outside Australia think highly of him, they might be curious and want to find out what Shannon is like ...Oh I know.. are people going to now say Shan riding on the coattails of Guy but it would be t errific for Oz music as a whole so everyone benefits not just Shannon... and also a case of out of sight, out of mind...I'd be worried about that too. He has gone out of Oz but I actually like the way Shannon is out there endearing himself to his fans even more and winning new ones. The fans in this forum are die hard Guy fans that is why you are here but the thousands of other fans outside of this forum are not..so lets hope when he comes back..he gets hits the promotional trial HARD.. Got another thought but I'll continue in the thread about Guy and Shannon selling more albums and singles... to those who have read so far..thank you..I'll get off my box now. ;D

((hugs BO)) Don't worry BO, I know it was meant to be a joke. You would never intentionally say something mean BTW, Guest, if the roles had been reversed, I would have teased the poster for being so obsessed with Shannon that she couldn't resist mentioning him (which I think was the point of BO's reference to Guy?). In other words, I would have made exactly the same response I did to this one. Plus I would have cooed abit over how sweet Guy was ;D But I wouldn't have challenged Shannon fans over it. *sigh* I think you missed BO's sweet comments to Shannon in that same post!

Then just leave it that then. You once told me not to read things into words that weren't there... I don't actually remember saying this to you, but ok. And they are words that were actually there "had lessons from Guy". And don't get me wrong because I am a fan of both of the boys, but Guy gets immense support on this site so I never have to say anything but rarely does Shannon get any support and he deserves it just as much. So if I notice any anti-Shannon sentiment I will comment on it, even if I am the only one here

When I was reading your post it said how nice Shannon was and then you said he took lessons from Guy and this just tore down and turned around what you had said firstly. But thankyou for an apology.

And superc I like you..I always hve...you are hardly ever frivolous and very sensible.... Thank you, Guest.. but I don't think you'll like me much after reading my reply in the Guy/Shannon sales thread... I'm very frivolous there I just hope I didn't come across too smart-alecy (I do tend to). I know you're just being concerned for Shannon and that's nice.
