AUSSIE crooner Peter Andre is top of the pops in Britain after staging an amazing comeback.
Incredibly, Andre has hit number one on the UK charts with Mysterious Girl, the song he released in 1996, which back then could only manage to get to number two.
Andre has capitalised on the publicity generated from his stint on the hit UK program I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here, which was filmed in New South Wales.
Mysterious Girl beat boy band Westlife and R&B singer Jamelia to the number one spot after selling more than 20,000 copies of the single in just one day.
This week's Australian charts also brought good news for a reality TV contestant. Australian Idol Guy Sebastian's All I Need Is You, topped the ARIA chart.
