Shannon fans deface Guy February 16, 2004 THERE are thousands of reasons why Shannon Noll was jumping for joy in an empty Martin Place at the weekend -- he's expected to draw as many people to his lunchtime performance tomorrow. But he'd be less impressed by the work of graffiti artists on Guy Sebastian's Pepsi billboard at Taylor Square. Someone overcome with Mardi Gras fever has attacked the billboard, giving Sebastian a nicely placed, Noll-style beard and a T-shirt that now reads: "I love Shannon." Whether that's worse for Guy than the numerous bus advertisements that have been vandalised to read "Gay Sebastian", we're not sure. dailytelegraph.news.com.au/story.jsp?sectionid=1266&storyid=902477

Murmurs... February 16, 2004 CHANDLER Bing was either one very quick mover while in Sydney -- or one helluva Australian Idol fan. One Confidential spy says they saw the elusive Matthew Perry on Thursday afternoon at Dirt Cheap CD emporium in Bondi buying Shannon Noll's single and Robbie Williams' album. Then, a couple of hours later, he was spotted by another keen spy at the Virgin Megastore in the city -- again buying Shannon Noll's CD and the Robbie Williams Escapology album. Our money's on spotter number two, who says Charlie, the Virgin store assistant who served Perry, got the man's autograph. dailytelegraph.news.com.au/story.jsp?sectionid=1266&storyid=902478

Shannon fans actually defacing Guy's billboard ad. Some people have issues. Taking things to extreme because of jealousy and resentment is very unbecoming and uncool.

Shannon fans actually defacing Guy's billboard ad. Some people have issues. Taking things to extreme because of jealousy and resentment is very unbecoming and uncool. Who knows they were Shannon fans aurorab? The article says they were people with Mardi-Gras fever meaning that the 'I love Shannon' is a play on the very close friendship the two guys share together. There was no big poster of Shannon to deface so of course they would deface the poster of Guy with those words. As the article says, Shannon would not be impressed with the graffiti artists. Some of the stuff I've read by you on these forums shows that you have a few issues too.

Some of the stuff I've read by you on these forums shows that you have a few issues too. I was referring to the part where the person wrote "I love Shannon" and gave Guy a Shannon style beard. Deny it all you want and twist things, but common sense you should tell you its got be a big Shannon fan overcome with Mardi Gras fever or someone who favors him more than Guy. (thats what I think the writer's trying to get across too) And its not that hard to believe some fans get competitive and take things to extreme like that. And If you have a problem with my posts then its you who have issues. Because I only stand for what is fair. And I call it as I see it. Sorry if you don't like to hear that. But I'm mostly on this board to have interesting discussions and have fun too.

Because I only stand for what is fair. And I call it as I see it. This is hypocritical. I'd like to see where you have written something that has been fair to Shannon and his fans. I've read of your posts and all you do is accuse people of being bitter and resentful when you don't know these things. That is NOT fair. You might call it as you see it but you have done it with insulting others. My post was being fair to Shannon and Guy, both people involved here, I don't see how your posts were fair.
