Dicko steals World Idol show

Australia’s Guy Sebastian may have wowed the judges, but Australia’s Ian ‘Dicko’ Dickson has wowed the British press.
The UK tabloids are in a spin with headlines such as “World Idol Judge Worse Than Cowell” and “IF you thought Simon Cowell was nasty, Australian World Idol judge Ian Dickson will leave you quivering in your boots.”<br>
However, judging by discussion forums around the globe, Dicko has also become a worldwide cult figure after his harsh by heartfelt comments and those infamous Lord Of The Ring references on the World Idol performance show.
Dickson managed to steal the show from the infamous USA and UK judge Simon Cowell after calling the Norwegian contestant a Hobbit.
After taking on a U2 song, 24 year old Kurt Nilsen from Norway was told by Dickson he should have been crowned the “Middle Earth Idol”.
The World Idol Verdict Show will be shown live on Network Ten on Friday morning at 6.30am and repeated the same night at 7.30pm.
