I am not happy, I did not know about the age limit 30th June, I spent over $50.00 to get to the place, only to find out I am 2 weeks too old, I feel its discrimination, I look only around 18 years old, some people standing in line that were the right age for auditions looked 30+ years old, I don't think its fair. I sent Idol an email stating its discrimination, but no doubt they will ignore our pleas. 2 Freeeeeekin weeks toooooo oooollllddddd!!!!!! NOT FAIR!!!!

i cant believe that!!! 2 weeks!!! cmon, thats just stupid. my sis is 29 ans sings awesome but becos she's a year over she doesnt even get the chance!!!
If there are any young singers out there! GO DO IT NOW!!!!

Did they have an age limit last year, because it seemed like there were a variety of ages that auditioned last year. Singing in the shower is the best! I agree about the age limit, how talented you are is not a matter of age. It is really sad that people who are over 28 don't get the chance to perform.

We Better start practicing then teetree in the shower, you have 8-9 yrs before you reach the age limit and I have 4-5yrs before I do. Who knows maybe by then, we may be the next Tina Arena teetree ;D

i still sing in the shower though
if they gave me a bathroom to sing in my audition, i'll do it
