I can't really choose without knowing the style of your voice... ...umm...what music are you into the most? I think it would be better if you showcased your voice singing a style of music you were more accustomed to. Because John Mayer and Craig David are two totally different genres, they are like on the opposite ends of the music spectrum. It also depends on what your voice sounds like. Like if you are more rock/pop inclined, or RnB/Soul inclined. Sorry for not voting, I just can't really make a valid choice if I don't know these two things, they're pretty crucial to my decision.

Well I personally haven't heard that Craig David song, but I know what type of music he sings. I would go for the John Mayer one. It's somthing a little different, I don't think the judges would be expecting it...it's more likely they'd be expecting RnB styled songs. And I think that Marcia Dicko and Mark would like it, (that is, if you manage to pull it off ), because it's not an easy song to sing. good luck with it anyway, whichever song you end up choosing.

Lean On Me seems to be done a fair bit so personally I'd give it a miss.
Either of the other two - if you can sing both well even though they are so different then go with the one that moves you the most. Your passion will come through.
Good luck clownsy... let us know how you do? What place are you auditioning at?

Unless you've got a killer, distinct or powerful voice. Don't go singing lean on me! So many people sing it while they wait to audition and a fair few people I'd talked to that were waiting to audition chose it as their audition song...only to come back without a card.
But if you do sing either of the 3 songs you've selected, try and make it look as if you're feeling the music(it'll also help you focus and block everything else out) and hopefully it'll transcend onto the judges. Well either that or make sure you come across as being confident and have fun(cause that's what they like to see)!
And hey goodluck!

I would not recommend "Lean On Me" because so many people sung that song at the Melbourne auditions that I'm sure the judges are sick to death of it. I wouldn't recommend Crag David either because people at the Melbourne auditions who sung Craig or R'n'B songs weren't getting through, so obvisously I recommend John Mayer. Good luck with your audition! Let us know how you go!

Ah clownsy it doesn't realy matter what you sing, so long as you're comfortable with it. There's no point black listing all the songs your comfortable singing with to end up singing a song you don't really know very well or like. If you're like super duper good it won't matter if everyone else has sung it to death.
