hey, i'm a kiwi and that at times nz idol is a little dumb, the only thing keeping me glued to my television is the singers and that even some of them are not making me seeing them as maybe out first idol. Maybe as the comp goes along I may have changed my mind. Well as everyone know's sunday the 14th was the first performance in front of a live audience and that it was ok. Some really good performers shined that night and some didn't and that the guest judge was way to kind to some of them, I didn't think some of them did that well.

Don't worry - as it gets closer to the end the competition will ramp up & the performers will get better & better - happened in AI!
I bet it will get better & better & grip the nation by the time you guys are down to the final 5 or 6.
I'd just love to see it!

Well after watching last years American and the Australian Idol I think NZ Idol is a bit of a waste of time and money.
I am a little disappointed. I would have thought they could have done a lot better as there are quite a lot of kiwis who can sing, there are couple that are good but none of them has made a connection as yet. none of them has that power to make you vote as Clay and Guy did, none of them give you a goosebump or make you emotional. but then hey, " there will never be another Guy in this world."
Don't mind my little Dicko comments but that is only my opinion.
