He goes out of his way to think up nasty things to say. What a complete barstard.

FOR THAT FRIGGIN INSANE BOTTOM 3 VOTE!!! WHAT ON EARTH?! I just saw the first part of the show (no way should Jen, Fantasia and Latoya have been in the bottom three). Really great performances and I am just flabbergasted!!! Anyway, GUY LOOKED VERY CUTE!! At least there was SOMETHING good about that insane episode!!!!!!! I really can't wait to see Australian Idol now. Maybe you guys are better at looking at sheer talent (well, you voted for Guy!!!) than we Yanks are!! Oh my lord..I so agree with you Reggie, What The??? Fantasia, Latoya and Jennifer are the top tree in the competition.. my son says America doesn't want a black woman to win American Idol and I'm so pissed if this is true!!!! Surely wev'e come beyond this type of thinking? But I just don't know what to think because come on The young fella John Stevens what is he still doing in there, yes he has a certain style but he's not in the others league!! Sorry everyone I just had to get that out, sorry if I've offended anyone!!

Four of the top seven were black - besides, America voted them into the final 12 in the first place so why would it change its mind now? It simply comes down to fan base now. At this stage in the competition, people have decided on their favourites and they will vote for them no matter how they perform. If your favourite had a bad week, wouldn't you just vote extra to ensure they're there the next week? I sure as hell would. It's logical.

Sorry everyone I just had to get that out, sorry if I've offended anyone!! No you haveln't offended me and I am a JS fan. I agree with you. I don't know why he is still there either. He isn't cutting it and he isn't growing. I was prepared to give him the benefit of the doubt for a while but he shouldn't be there anymore as he is not making the grade. I think those 3 girls were in the bottom group as those that like that style of singing had their vote split three ways. Next week the two left should be back near the top again. But it will be difficult for them if they both stay to nearly the end as they will divide that Diva shout/sing vote again.

Just talked to my friends (black and white) and alot of people are saying the same thing. Apparently people are calling into the radio stations saying the same thing that you did. But, they said the same thing about Reuben last year and he did win. But apparently he got ALOT of racist hate mail or something! America is just a different beast!!! What are they saying on the American Idol site? Gonna check it out!

Someone noticed a trend on the AI3 boards
Princess - Leah Guy - Matt Diva - Amy Princess - Camile Guy - JPL Diva - Jennifer
So it should be Diana or Jasmine next.
I don't think race has much to do with it (if at all). The votes are just split. JS is still in because he's the only uniquely soft one left, so there's no splittage.

i actually hope John Stevens doesn't win cos i don't want him to have to record a CD of songs that wouldnt suit him, thus ruining a potentially very good career

I was just on the American Idol site. We Yanks are such the conspiracy theorists!! Apparently there is talk going on that people from Jen's home town (15,000) were not able to vote because the phone lines went down. Fox has said that it would not have made a difference anyway.
The other talk is that FOX is pushing Fantasia really hard to be the winner (is why her baby girl was brought onto stage and they kept showing her family while she was singing. I thought that was a bit strange as they usually don't show the families that much until the end of their songs or something. Did anybody else think that was strange?) and that Jen was gaining on her in the Diva competition.
A WHOLE 3 threads on the racism issue. Sorry guys...THIS issue is such an American thang!
But the good news seems to be that Arista and 2 or 3 other labels are already fighting over who is gonna sign her! YOOZAH!!!!!!
Also, she said some very nice things about JS. Said he deserves to be there...cus he is feeling that he shouldn't be. Apparently he told her that "It should have been me!". She told him that he is a good singer and that he has a great fan base (all reworded from an actual interview) Like someone said in the post that followed "So much for her DIVA attitude".
Ye-uh! Ye-uh!!

Nice comments about JS. I agree with just about all of them. I hope one day he will get a contract but he isn't ready yet to put one out, but when he is I will buy one.
Btw he looks terrified each week. Poor kid. He really is not coping too well. Pity he wasn't a bit older and able to mange the stresses and strains a bit more. Perhaps the pressure has got to him and that is why he is not performing well.
