Hehehe... it's true, his singing was great but the dancing had me in stitches I guess he's the William Hung of the final 12 and by the end you'll either really love him or hate his guts. ;D

But he gets away with it. I mean, if any of the other performers came out and danced like that I think I'd be a tad perplexed, but his performances are fun. I really don't know how he made it past the judges considering how ultra-serious everyone else is in the competition. But I thank them. ;D

In the half hour it took for the judges to tell us the four contestants who would not be performing, they could have performed!

I don't get how they chose the contestants to perform. They told Lisa she had one of the top female voices on the whole show...then told her she wasn't in, and that was the end of that. They could have at least told her (and us!) the reason she didn't cut it despite having a great voice. Especially when we heard comments to people like Katie Webber, like "Whatever, you've always been so-so."

Yeah I thought that was a bit odd. Some of the people they did choose to sing were not very good. I thought they would give all the runners up a go(meaning the ones who had got into the final 3 each week. 'Boooooo' we demand a recount to give Lisa a chance. Couldn't be any worse than that Katie Weber she was a pretty face and nice body but not a lot else. Agree on all the others though.
Does anyone else think Americans seem to be voting on popularity rather than talent. Otherwise why would that football guy be in it. I do hope that changes when the next bit starts. I still think we had a lot more talent in our show than this one. Wonder if when we get to Aus idol 3 will there be not as much talent as we had on the 1st show.

Does anyone else think Americans seem to be voting on popularity rather than talent. Personality seems to be a big deal. Look at the judges' comments like "you don't have the personality / charisma to be a star", "you didn't bring out your personality in that song", etc.

I agree about that "football guy", I don't even know his name, but I was surprised to see him get to the final 12.
