I don't have a problem with American Idol 3, certainly don't like it anywhere near as much as I luved Aussie Idol but I think I just needed needed my idol hit. lol.
The show is edited and it only shows parts that the people making the show find entertaining. They like to show the judges or contestants at the peak of their frustration or upset. They are making a show remember. The judges have to sit through utter crap all day long coming from complete tools who really just don't get it into their thick skulls that hey are hopeless singers. It must get extremely frustrating, and truth be told I'd probably walk out too.
Not saying I agree with cruel comments, because I certainly don't but some people really just don't get it. Sometimes u've just gotta be cruel to be kind I think.
btw wasn't it hialrious when that Guy chucked water over Simon and Simon said later "I thought he was coming up to shake my hand" lol i couldn't stop laughing! Did that guy seem to anyone else that he was suffering from a mental illness or something? He just seemed really strange.
oh and who can tell me how many times AI3 will be played each week and what days and times please?
Thanks guys!

What about the girl in the mini skirt who sang like 10 words and was let right into the next round..wtf @ that. I know! and ive sung the song she sung (well sorta sung) in my vocal classes and know that she didn't go high enough on one of the 2 notes she got to sing before she was let through. That was just stupid, especially when they were knocking back a lot of people that had potential.

I would say Randy is almost like the Mark Holden of American Idol.

So the judges get worse do they reggie? Looking forward to getting beyond the audition stage maybe it will improve then. Theres nowt else on anyway so I'll give 'em another go. Hey MO!! Yeah, they are pretty awful. And the contestants...whew!! Even the dog was horrified!! (you'll know what I'm talkin about when you see the LA/SF show!!) Just don't know why...except for ratings...they would show such crap. Everyone is watching it here so I guess that their strategy worked. I think the show will be better when it actually starts with the competition. I've had it though...not watching anymore (comes on again tonight...Hawaii) until the competition!!

I think that AI3 should of had new judges this time, these 3 sound like they are a;ready bored with the show, so rude to contestants and even walking out of the room. It must be frustrating though having to sit through all those auditions and they should be stricter with who they let through to see the judges in the first place... Australia would of probably been better getting New Zaland which starts soon Yeah. This is what I don't understand. On last night's show you see that there is a screening process...they use groups of other judges before the contestants get to see Simon, Randy and Paula. SO why would they let so many people thru who the final 3 judges were gonna knock back??? HAS TO BE RATINGS!!!

I read in an Oz mag today, that there are going to be celebrity guest judges....have they done that before in American Idol? Yeah they had Celebrity guest judges once they got to the final 12. I remember singers Lionel Richie, Smokey Robinson, Robin Gibb from Bee Gees and a couple others. And they also had songwriter Diane Warren who wrote lots of hits for singers like Celine Dion and Aerosmisth's "I don't want to miss a thing"

They didn't have celebrity guest judges in season 1.

hmmmmmmm i wonder if aus idol will get sum celebrity judges Yeah that'd be awesum! Or they cud have Guy or Shannon or sum1 from the first season to come on for an episode, or one a week or wateva to give their opinions to the contestants or offer advice or sumthing. Man that'd be really cool!
